I had an old fabric shaver that I previously used to de-pill fabric. It quit working a few years ago and I have been looking for a replacement. I saw a Consumer Reports review comparing several fabric shavers. The Philips Fabric Shaver was one of them. It wasn't CR's #1 choice, but they rated it almost as high and it cost less than 1/4 of the price. I purchased this model and was very happy with my decision. The fabric shaver does a very good job by removing pills easily. The shaving surface is large enough to complete the de-pilling task quickly. It holds a lot of removed material, and it is easy to clean. It takes 2 AA batteries. It is nicely designed but I needed to read the instructions to be aware of how to reach the different parts of the equipment. I'm very happy with this small but useful machine.

I have been looking for a fabric shaver or we call it a de piller for quite some time. I decided to try this fabric shaver and I’m glad I did. It’s very easy to run it over your clothes and it doesn’t matter whatever material it is it will remove the little pills that gather on your fabric. It’s very easy to use, it works very fast so it has a high speed and I’ve not seen any fabric damage on anything that I’ve used it on. If you are in need to clean up your clothes from the extra pills that seem to magically appear then this is the perfect fabric shaver for you. I was a little concerned at first because it felt like it was not the best quality, but it has surprised me with how well it works. It’s easy to pull the little gathering cup off and dump it out and slide it back on. I was very happy with it.

This thing is great. It works better on certain fabrics/pills, but so far has made everything better than if I didn’t use anything. I’d recommend trying it. The other reviews are correct that you have to empty the container pretty frequently but it takes 2 seconds to pop it off, shake it over the trash, and pop it back on. I attached a pic of a hat where you can see the right side is shaved, and the left side is not. Almost looks new.

Great little tool, made a bunch of my clothes lot brand new! It can be a bit time consuming but it's really enjoyable I do it while I'm watching TV or listening to an audiobook. It's recommend buying rechargeable batteries for it though so you don't go through a ton of AA batteries.

This Philips Fabric Shaver works really well. It removes a lot of fuzz and lint quickly and makes fabrics look new again. It’s very easy to use and comfortable to handle. I liked it so much that I purchased two — one for home and one for the office. Highly recommend.

Pretty easy to use and doesn't take long to clean off fabric pills from the surface. Definitely recommend for a quick job to get done.

When my brother ordered this product, I really thought he was wasting money on something that wouldn't be of much use, but how wrong I was. This lint remover gave a new life to my old woolens. I had previously tried removing lint from my woolens using combs and razor (got these ideas from insta) but all failed and these clothes had been locked in an old box, but this product changed it all. It is easy to use, removes all the lints and gives a new life to your woolen. A must buy.

Compré el Philips Fabric Shaver para la ropa y la verdad es que lo amo. Deja las prendas mucho más prolijas, especialmente suéteres y telas que hacen bolitas con el uso. Es compacto, ligero y fácil de usar. Cumple perfectamente su función. Lo único que cambiaría es que fuera recargable. Funciona con pilas y a la larga resulta un poco incómodo tener que estar comprando baterías. En cuanto al rendimiento, a veces siento que no saca las bolitas tan fácilmente como al principio, así que supongo que habrá que cambiar la cuchilla cuando pierda filo. En general, muy buena compra para mantener la ropa como nueva.

Best product in a long time! Watch the video I posted of using it. In a matter of seconds with one hand I was able to remove all the pilling off my fleece leggings. So fast. So easy. Even my 11 year old can do it. 10 out of 10. If I could rate it an 11 stars, I would. Buy this! Wow great product for the price!!

Excellent fabric shaver! It removes lint and pills incredibly well and makes clothes look like new again. I’ve tried many fabric shavers before, and this one is by far the best. It works efficiently, gently on fabrics, and is very easy to use. High quality and great performance — absolutely worth it. Highly recommended!
