This equipment feels durable and a good value for the money we spent. Fits my 6’1” son with plenty of room to spare and isn’t super heavy or bulky. Chest pad is really nice and thick. Knee pads have a gel cushion inside too. Plan on spending some time at home adjusting the multiple leg straps into the right position. A huge upgrade from our previous setup we’ve been using for several years.

This gear is very sturdy and has lasted a long time. It fit my son perfectly and he looks great in it.

My grandson has been a catcher on travel ball teams since he was 8 years old. Over the course of 7 years we have purchased several sets of catcher's gear. Some because he had out grown the previous set, others because they couldn't withstand the rigors of daily practice and weekly tournaments. In our experience, All-Star System7 is the best catcher's gear available. It looks good, fits well and is comfortable, is reliable and doesn't break, and most importantly provides excellent protection. He is at the age now where pitchers are throwing 80+ mph and blocking fast-balls or taking foul-tips can have painful consequences. Having full confidence in your gear is a must and he won't wear anything but All-Star System7.

My son is rough on his gear (what catcher isn't?) and, prior to this set, were replacing parts and adjusting things on a game-by-game basis -- no matter how much we spent on the gear. We have had this set for 2 seasons of high-level play and haven't had a single issue. Would recommend and by again.

These fit my son well. He was able to move well to block in these. They protected him at pitches that were over 90mph. The shin guards stayed tight on his legs so you didn’t see him adjusting those all the time like you see most catchers doing. They are expensive but worth it.
