Excellent, bought a second one.
Space saving, fits even if you have a big block plugged in next to it. Four charging spots. Intelligent voltage so you don't burn up low voltage items like string lights or a short LED strip, but will fast charge things too. That would be enough. But there's more. It's made in Vietnam. It came very well packed in a static proof bag, suspended in a recyclable tray and recyclable box. It has certifications and FCC standards. Included some instructions (have a magnifier handy if you have weak eyes like me). I'm not an expert on brands but it seems to be UK/Hong Kong headed with manufacturing in Vietnam. What will stand out to you is the quality. In a world of cheap junk electronics and chargers, this one is worth the price. Currently 40% off though. So I bought another one.

Great for family travel including overseas with multiple fast-charging gadgets. Switches voltages and protects your gadgets.
Retirement cruise, an iPad, two droid phones, camera & a kindle with the Anker, one Aussie and two European power plug adapters, 1 WHITE lightening cable and three micro-usb cables. The Anker switches 110/220 automatically (as does wife's curler BUT NOT her hair dryer.) (Note 1: 4 cables out of one charger is a whole mess of cables. Needed some cable ties or twisties to keep it organized) (Note 2: You know, those metal plug adapters you get at the airport or Walmart only allow you to plug your US gadget into foreign power, they don't stop it from burning up if it doesn't automatically handle foreign voltages. The Anker switches voltages and protects your gadgets.) Philadelphia to Sydney - Plugged Anker in at Philly airport restaurant to charge phone used to talk to daughter on drive and her kindle. Snagged a plug in San Francisco waiting lounge to fill iPad and two droids. 4 days at the Sydney Marriott. One 110 outlet at the hotel, damaged by previous guest. Gave wife the Aussie plug adapter and manually switched the hair dryer to 220. Used a European adapter to power the Anker at 220 in a special hotel outlet for Europeans. All gadgets fine whole stay. Onboard Royal Caribbean for 18 days, New Zealand through Polynesia. 1 US 110 & 2 European 220 outlets in cabin. Stuck a European adapter on the Anker and on the Wife's auto-switching curler and manually switched her dryer to 110 and gave her the US outlet (this was a mistake). Anker powered gadgets were fine all trip. About day 13, she pulled the curler from the adapter and stuck the 110 set dryer in to 220v. Fzzzz. Hotel in Honolulu - Anker powered all gadgets fine. Honolulu to Philadelphia - Long flight wait in Honolulu. Stuck the Anker in the wall, topped off droids and iPad, and some phone of another passenger. Same thing in Seattle waiting on Philly flight. Fast charge worked great on iPad and Droids. Currently I have it stuck in a battery back up UPS under the bed to provide power for iPad and droid - system that works well with power outages. Best charger I've ever had.

My IDEAL charger. My new favorite, go-to charger.
Like others, I own the previous version of this charger which is still working great. However, after I saw that there is a new and improved version, I couldn't resist buying it. I do not regret buying this new version and it is now my new favorite go-to charger. Why? - IMPROVED PORTABILITY: It is now more portable now that you have the prong being foldable. I had problems with the old charger catching on things in my backpack because the prongs were not foldable and were just sticking out. Now this is a nice block when folded up so it is much easier to store and take out when I am on-the-go. - INDICATOR LIGHTS: Indicator lights are really convenient when in a place like Starbucks or the library and you need to share an outlet with strangers. A quick glance at the charger, and I can tell whether all my devices are done charging so I can give up the outlet for someone else to use, or if I need a bit longer to charge my stuff. This is especially convenient for my devices like headphones and such that do not have a display to tell me how charged the device is (unlike iPads and/or iPhones that tell you how much charge you have remaining on it). If it lights up green, my devices are still charging. If it lights up blue, I am done charging and the charger is just in standby. - FASTER CHARGE: Charges my devices even faster compared to the old Anker 4-port charger because it is now 40W instead of 36W. - MORE PROTECTION: There are now more protection features on this charger, something I really appreciate for my beloved devices. I never had problems with surges and/or temperature control with the old Anker charger, but I'm glad that I will be even more protected now that I have this charger. The previous 36w Anker 4-port charger was pretty great, but I definitely regularly felt that there could be something better. This new version is that "something better." For now, I do not feel that this charger is missing anything or lacking any features--it is my favorite and my ideal charger.

7/7/17 After several emails with customer service, I now have a replacement wall charger from Anker. It works perfectly. Yea!
I originally reviewed this at 3 stars but have changed it to 5 after dealing with their customer service and getting a replacement for a defective device. I can't say enough about their customer service - I explained the problem, they ask some questions, and I had a new wall charger to me in 2 days (before I had even mailed the defective unit back to them). I'd probably give it higher, but I haven't had a chance to use it much. I like what I have seen so far, though! I bought a Drok Multimeter at the same time that I bought this product, so I could test to see how it performs. I put my iPhone 5 in one of the ports when it was charged 100%, and the I (Input) was at .2 amps. I was distressed at first, until I went online and found some instructions. When a device is at or near 100%, then the input amps on the Drok drops considerably, it stated. Whew...the Anker is not defective. So, I waited until my phone was at 12% and put the Drok on the Anker, again. This time the Output from the Anker was at 1amp, which is what the phone takes for input. I have not tried a device that takes more than 1amp, yet, which is why I say I haven't had a chance to use it much. But, so far, I am liking it. I bought it because I live full-time in my RV and am starting to use power banks to keep my devices charged. This wall charger states that it can give 2amps to each USB port, which means I can charge both of my dual-input power banks at the same time. Hope it works :) 7/1/17 I have had more time to use the unit, including using all four ports to charge my EasyAcc power bank and my Anker 20000, both of which have dual inputs that can take 2amps for faster charging. With all 4 ports in use to charge the 2 power banks, none of the ports put out close to 2 amps. The most I could get out of any of the ports was 1.65amps. If only 1 USB port was being used, the output from the Anker wall charger was 2.0. As soon as a second USB port was put into action, the amps dropped to 1.85. When the third was added, the amps dropped to 1.65. Bummer. Hoping this is because the unit is defective. I love the look and feel of the Anker products, but they are no good to me if they do not do what they say they do. Anker does have great customer service. So, I'm hoping they will help me resolve my issue and then I can put this at 5 stars. If you aren't super concerned with output numbers, then this charger is great because it can charge 4 devices at once and it can charge at over 1amp for each of the 4. But, if you need the full 2amps for one of those devices, then maybe take another look. Charging times are much slower if your device needs 2amps but is only getting 1.6.

Really nice with a few (minor) issues
This charger works really well, but has a few (minor) issues. I don't think they would prevent me from buying the charger again, but they stop me from giving it a 5-star rating. This charger charges all of my devices quickly and effectively (including an iPhone 6s Plus, Samsung S4, Nexus 7 tablet, and Galaxy Tab 2). It even works better than my OEM Samsung charger for my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2. That tablet ONLY accepted charge from a Samsung charger, which was a big pain if I didn't have one handy, especially because that charger was dying and having trouble actually charging. This Anker charger makes all of that a non-issue: it charges perfectly as though it were an actual Samsung charger. As well, my Nexus 7 tablet wouldn't charge from a "regular" charger, so I left it in the drawer for a year assuming it was dead. However, I plugged it into this Anker charger and it came back to life. Woo-hoo! This is very small and compact, which is great. But, it's kind of heavy. This is understandable because it has to charge 4 devices at once and needs the circuitry to support many different kinds of devices. But, it can cause problems when trying to get it to stay in a wall outlet. This is especially problematic when traveling overseas and using a plug adapter. Without something to support the charger from underneath, it falls out and doesn't charge (see photos). If the adapter had 3 prongs instead of 2, there might be a bit more friction to help hold the charger in place. If this is plugged into a power strip on the floor (or an outlet in the floor), this isn't an issue. However, most places I've traveled have only wall outlets. And this is marketed as a travel charger so that's a bit frustrating. The USB ports are extremely tight, so tight that it is quite difficult to get the cables out. I'm actually worried I will damage the cables as I pull them out. As well, the arrangement of the ports makes it so that I can only grab onto the edges of the cables instead of the tops and bottoms. If I could grab onto the top and bottom of a cable, I'd have a lot more grip to pull a cable out. This issue makes it difficult to change/disconnect cables. I bought this charger because Anker has well-built products, excellent warranties, and great customer service. A cable from a previous Anker charger died and Anker replaced it with no hassle whatsoever. They even replaced it with a BETTER cable than the one that came with the device. As well, their lightning cable is way better build than the OEM Apple lightning cable that came with my iPhone. With these experiences, I am happy to continue using Anker for my chargers and cables.

Another quality Anker product -- highly recommended
Pros: -- Compact and high quality charger for four devices -- Sufficient power to charge iPad and iPhone and additional items all at the same time -- Doesn't get hot -- Charges quickly -- Retractable prongs on the plug -- Multi-voltage Cons: -- Plug isn't changeable for use in other countries I'm becoming something of an Anker fanboy. This is now the third Anker product I've purchased from Amazon, and I have been favorably impressed with all of them. I've got a multi-port desktop charger, a battery, and this wall charger. Every Anker product I've tried features an intelligent design and good craftsmanship. I use this wall charger for traveling. It packs conveniently in my carry-on, and I don't have to scrounge through the house for multiple chargers before heading for the airport. I keep this charger in a go-case with a couple of retractable Apple lightening cords and a couple of micro-USB cords. It's all I need, and it's always ready to go. The retractable prongs on the U.S. plug are convenient for shrinking the form factor, but I wish it also had a changeable plug (like an Apple power brick) that would allow me to add a European or British plug as needed when traveling abroad. The multivoltage capability (100v-240v) makes this ideal for international travel. Even without the swappable plugs, it still works with a passive plug converter for use in other countries. You just need to make sure you use a converter with a flush face; this won't plug into a recessed socket as you see with many European-style converters.

Worked Great.
Took this on resent trip to Disney. Got all 4 magic bands ready for the next day every time. Always been pleased with Anker products. I like the fact that the charger has a folding plug for no snags when packing, when unfolded it locks in very well.
