Very practical, small in size battery charger which can be easily carried along on long rides for emergent use. Also very practical device for garage to trickle charge the batteries of vehicles not being driven for long periods. Successfully charged my bike battery without removing it from the bike. It needs time to charge being a 1.5 Ampere charger but does the job in a steady manner. There are no switches, no controls, nothing to worry about. Just connect to the 12 V battery it will flash the battery voltage, connect to mains & switch on & now the charging voltage is shown. Can check the battery voltage anytime by swithcing off the mains connection. Simple & sweet, not expensive also. Additional fuse is also provided. Must buy for bikers.

The Digitronix charging is working,The voltage display alright. But the charging LED is not working when the low battery is connected and full LED is blinking but the full LED is not continuously.

I bought a new family car about 3 months ago and my older car (An Alto) was parked for infrequent use. The Alto is 16.5 years old and currently carries a 4 year old battery and due to not being used, the battery discharged. When the need arose to set the Alto into running condition as a backup vehicle, I had a choice between calling a battery store, replacing the battery or attempting to charge it myself and considering the Alto will continue to remain a backup vehicle, I felt having a car battery charger was beneficial. Having provided the context, this device was very helpful to run a trickle charge and restore the battery. I topped off the battery with distilled water using a medicine dropper and then set this to charge. Since this is a lead acid battery being charged at home for the first time, I was cautious and ran the charging in sprints of 2 hours at a time with 30 minutes cool of between each charging sprint so that there were no overheating issues or battery venting issues. When I started the charging process the battery was at a very low 9.4V and the following morning it had gone up to 11.2.V. My confidence on the device and the process increased and I left it on continuous charging and by evening I had a fully charged battery that gt the Alto running on the first attempt at ignition. Overall a value for money deal. Cannot comment on longevity as I've recently purchased it and used it only once. But I feel it'll last.

I purchased this item through Amazon. I PURCHASED this to check and charge position of the battery of My TVS PEP PLUS SCOOT Y which is at present having amaron battery 12v 5 ah Model ABR-PR-12APBTX50 of the times whenever i do not use the scooty for one or two months and above. Earlier battery became dead due to deep discharge for not using the scooty and there was no means to charge the battery intermittent , even though i know that the battery will get deep discharged of not using the schooty for long. Now it is a new batttery. When I checked the condition of the battery with this charger the reading without switch on the mains, shown 13.5V and when I switched on it has shown 14.5 v dc. and the 'full' indicator led blinked for some time and stopped blinking while the reading continued to show at 14.5 dc v . So I switched off the mains and disconnected . I request the manufactuerer to explain why the blink on indicator 'full' stopped to light and display when it is full, even though it is showing a reading of 14.5 dc v. In my view, when the battery is full and no need to charge, the 'full' indicator should display continuously till it is disconnected. The set is overll good and I recommend to purchase and keep it with every two wheeler owner. I have not tried on 4 wheeler battery since i dont own a car. This is my feed back.
