I've used Shoo Goo for ages. It's great. It'll fix up your shoes fine. But now I'm one of those dummies who has ordered something on Amazon, not paid enough attention to the size of the product, and received something much, much smaller than I anticipated. I didn't want a huge tube of Shoo Goo, as I knew I wouldn't use it all before it dried up. So I ordered what I thought would be the 'next size down'. It would probably be half the size of the large tube, right? It was about half the price of the big tube, so that's not such a silly assumption, is it? This tube is TINY, though. It's only a little more than 5ml. It's says it up in the description, so it's my fault that I was surprised. But just beware. There was enough Goo for what I needed immediately, but this might not be the case for you. And you're paying quite a lot per ml.

This glue has good reviews and usage instructions , which I viewed before purchase on You Tube. It needs a several hours of dry time. Overnight is best and 24hours to completely cure to full bondage strength. In comparison tests it out performs Gorilla glue. Popular with Skateboarders. They were using jumbo economy size tubes to mend holey canvas uppers, strengthening stiching and rubber join. (To mend holes and tears in canvas uppers - put adesive tape behind on inside shoe for big holes, put small blob of glue, enough to cover hole and spread flat with an ice cube). Young skateboys are hard on their expensive, cult shoes and said it was a lot cheaper to mend than buy new.. Maybe Shoe Goo is a lot cheaper in US...or the seller is taking the pi pi with these tiny one- use tubes? (one tube for each shoe, if needed for gluing on replacement soles) I have yet to see if it will be hard wearing (as claimed) just used on its own, as the clogs i need to repair have soles worn only at the outer heel edge. I tried Sugru, which was good for rebuilding worn sole areas, but it wore down very fast.

I bought this after reading a few different websites claiming it was amazing for all things when it came to shoe repair. I needed it to stick in some insoles so they don't shift, and the websites all seemed to agree that it was good for that. Unfortunately I tried it and the glue was pretty rubbish, and the insoles never got close to being stuck down. The consistency of the glue is similar to bostik, and even when I got it on my hands or the leather of the shoe I could just rub it off again as it clumped up in seconds into little balls. I don't know if I just got a duff tube, but it was beyond useless for what I needed it for and since it was a small tube it's not like I can try it again without buying more - which naturally I am not likely to do after having a bad experience already. The amount of 4 and 5 star reviews makes me think it must be great for some things, but sadly not for what I needed it for.

The glue is actually very good but it comes in a ridiculously small tube! While the dimensions are clearly stated in Amazon, the picture is deceiving. In the end I have to buy a second tube to completely fix my boots.

Seems to have done the job of mending a split in my rubber boots.

For a start, the review template for this item is ridiculous, obviously for footwear, not a product to repair footwear: asks for how many stars for 'Warmth'. ASs for the product (TINY tube), does it need to be applied to one or both surfaces? Both sides bonded immediately or leave for a few minutes? Roughly how long to be left to dry properly? No instructions whatsoever. "For precautionary statements, refer to back of display card." Ah, that will be the display card it didn't come with. Which is probably where the instructions for use are. Shoddy. Does it work? Probably. Haven't tried it yet.
