I would definitely keep any pads I’d used for nail varnish remover separate from ones that cleaned my face and eyes though. They do come out of the wash clean, but just to be on the safe side! Hope that’s helpful. **Q: What's the diameter of a one pad?** A: The diameter of 1 pad is 8cm 🙂 **Q: How long do they last before they need replacing ?** A: I have had mine for about 7 months, I soak them in a plastic tub with some soda crystals and a few drops of essential oil as it helps to clean them. Then I wash them once every 10 to 14 days in washing machine with no softener in 40 wash with towels etc and air dry. Currently they are a bit smaller, but work fine. They were a bit rough at first, but now are fine. I think they will last a very long time and are very useful not only for my face makeup remover, but cleaning grandkids faces as well. **Q: What is the bag made of** A: To be honest I am not really sure bit feels like cotton, but could be a bamboo material.
