I was surprised by how well this works! I tried the phenylephrine hemorrhoid cream hack for my under-eye bags, and it actually made a noticeable difference. After applying a tiny amount, the puffiness under my eyes looked reduced and my eyes appeared more awake and refreshed. The effect was pretty quick and helped smooth the area temporarily, which is great before going out or taking photos. Just remember to use a very small amount and be careful around the eyes. For a quick fix for under-eye puffiness, this hack definitely worked for me!

Medications work as intended.
Not much difference between brands that I have found, it's all down to active ingredients. They work. Phenylephrine reduces swelling more quickly than hydrocortisone over the short term (Preparation H) but hydrocortisone will bring things down overall, and clear the flare itself. This is good for right after a poop to soothe irritation. Hydrocortisone can go on between poops. That's what worked best for me.
