I read so many reviews on umbrellas before deciding on this one. I read many complaints about other umbrellas color fading after just a few days. The reviews on this did not have such complaints. Our summers where I live in sunny Calif are 100°+ so if an umbrella was going to fade, it would. This umbrella was extremely easy for me to assemble & cranks open/close easily. I've had it open since it arrived a month ago. (except for this pic) There has been no fading at all. I love the color, the shade it makes, the ease of using it. I love everything about this umbrella! I haven't tried the tilt yet b/c I haven't needed to. I'm 5'3 & would need a stool to press that button to use the tilt feature. Anyone a little taller would be able to do it. This is a very well made, quality umbrella & I'd expect the tilt feature to be the same. Highly recommend. Update: July 15,2022 It's been 1yr since my umbrella has been up & opened all day, everyday. I added pics so you can judge for yourself regarding any fading. I'm still COMPLETELY happy with this awesome umbrella! Yes, there may be some slight fading, but nothing that I'd noticed until matching it up with the pics in my initial review. After all, our temps in the Inland Empire in California are typically in the triple digits all summer, so in my opinion, I'd say this umbrella has held up beautifully! It still looks great & functions perfectly. No rips, tears or any problems whatsoever. Buy it!

Product works great. Looks great. And kept the sun off our booth well. Our problem was the umbrella didn't fit into the base well, and it wobbled and rocked all weekend. We do believe this is an issue with the base, or the connection to the base.

Ordered this umbrella and so far it’s holding up in the hot Texas sun.

This umbrella is much better than the one I replaced it with. The quality is great. After a couple years, the beautiful turquoise color has not faded.

I was very surprised to read the bad reviews about this umbrella being a piece of junk, flimsy and thin. Perhaps it makes a difference what color your order? Our dark green is the thickest, most solid, beautiful shade and fabric of all the umbrellas we've had through the years with the possible exception of couple patterned umbrellas that were rated quite high for their beauty though they were thin material. At any rate, we've had a lot of umbrellas and we use several every season. Of the three we have been using this spring and summer (all different brands from different vendors) this one in dark green is by far the thickest, sturdiest, and most durable. I am thinking the bad reviews possibly mean different weight fabric is used on different colors and some fabrics just may not be that durable. Or, perhaps there is no quality control and it's the luck of the draw. In that case, we lucked out. We are still using ours now as we go into fall. We will put it away for the winter and go right into using it again next spring with no issue.
