1941 Replica Black Ice Pocket Lighter

First and foremost, this lighter has classic style. I was skeptical of the Black Ice finish, but I'm more than satisfied seeing this lighter in-person. Second, the heft of the all-metal Zippo does, as always, inspire confidence in the quality and durability of this fine product. Finally, my Zippo lit on the first flint strike and remained lit despite 45 mph winds outdoors. That speaks volumes about the Zippo name. In short, I completely recommend this product for any consumer wondering whether they should upgrade from a disposable lighter to a lifetime piece such as this. Trust in the Zippo quality - it will never disappoint.

I won't even discuss how well it works because it's guaranteed to work by Zippo or you get it fixed or get a new one. The replica has an awesome look to it with the rounded edges and the replica stamp. Zippo went into fine detail to really match the original 1941 lighter. The shape, hinge, bottom stamp, and strike wheel are period correct. The only con that I could think of is that if you don't like fingerprints you will find yourself wiping it off a lot on the sides and some on the front even though it's brushed, but that pretty much comes with any Zippo and isn't that big of a deal.

This is the first Zippo I have ever owned. The finish is very nice and the shape is uniquely different than other Zippos I have seen. I gave this item 4 stars because it works well, is nice and small, great finish, and most of all simple to use and maintain. The one gripe I have is that the hinge that holds the top cover gets a little loose. No biggie really, just a pet peeve.

I have always loved zippos. And this one is no exception. It has a more squared off shape. Which I really like. And the black ice color is really cool. It looks like the standard silver zippo head on. But when its turned it gives off a black tint. Its a very sleek basic lighter. No stupid lights or stickers. Just a good classic lighter that is well worth the money and will last a lifetime.

awesome finish and box! the box is silver and very arch deco look to it. IN the box on the paper it sits on it says the differences between the 1941 replica and the modern ones which is a VERY helpful guideline. the finish is nice on the front and back it is Brushed Black Ice and around the edges it is gloss chrome black ice. for the price i bought this at ($17.00) it is definitely worth it, considering the lighter had a $30.00 price tag on it when i bought it, which is the price Zippo charges.

So, the lighter is great, I really like it, but there is one problem that is kinda frustrating. I ordered this lighter, the 1941 Reblica Black Ice Logo, but ended up with the 1935 Replica with Brushed Chrome and Slashes. Still a nice lighter, but not the one I ordered... I’m kind of frustrated at that, because I would like to get the item I purchased. I’m too lazy to send it back and make a big deal out of it, but Zippo, if you read these reviews ever, c’mon guys, really?

I am a huge fan of zippo, from their simple yet very effective design , to their great lifetime warranty, you just cant go wrong. Here Me Out, IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A SOFT FLAME LIGHTER ZIPPO IS THE BEST YOU CAN GET! I love this lighter! this is my second 1941 replica and i think that it is so far my favorite design . The diffidence between a 1941 and other zippos is that this one is a bit wider and has more rounded edges. Those might seem like small changes but they are just big enough to make this my preferable design. Great Buy.

This is one of my favorite classic zippo looks. These seem to still be reasonably well made for the inexpensive cost. I like to keep a few of these around the house for emergencies. I used to keep Colibri lighters around, but got tired of them breaking after 6 months of use. What else can you say? It's a Zippo.

Looks and feels really good but the orange seal was removed and it found a-lot of fingerprints and smudges on it, otherwise it is really awesome and almost has a brushed black ive look on it.
