This hub has mobile support and audio mm jack slot with volume control, which is not there in the current USB-C model I own. Most of the times I'm in situations where I have to use Ethernet port(and mac doesn't have a port) because of lack of Wi-Fi spots. This hub has saved me in those situations many a times.
