Heavier made than I expected. Easy mount for average handyman.One drawback is that it doesn’t flatten 12 oz cans enough. I just made a 2 7/8” square piece of wood (from a 1 X 4 I think) and glued matching size rubber (old inner tube material) to each side to keep it in place while crushing. I already knew this would be a minor issue from reading the other reviews. The wooden block fixed the flattening complaint.No problem, issue resolved, crushing away. Good buy.If you KNOW FOR A FACT that you’ll never crush 16oz cans, just get the 12oz size and be done with it.

This product is great for me. Crushes cans to about an inch thick. I had been smashing cans with a hammer which got them really flat, but it took time and it was really a pain for several reason. This solved my problem. Easy install for the corner in my kitchen closet. Out of the way. I wish they had two hole in the top intended to be installed in a 2x4 but I was fortunate to have a wall corner where ther is plenty of 2x4 action. Now, done with can, into the crusher, lever down and can crushed and drop into bucket. Only concern is how long it will last. Guess I will see, but for now I would recommend this product.

Easy to mount on a wall (make sure you hit the stud or use wall anchors). The three screws secure it tightly when mounted properly. Easy one hand operation. With soda cans, give them a little "pinch" on the sides, put the can in the crusher and then pull down with one hand to crush it down to a little over 1 inch. A useful product, and I wonder why you would pay more when you dont have to.

This can crusher works perfectly. Extremely easy to mount and doesn't take up much room. Looks good on the garage wall too! I immediately went to work crushing 8 bins of aluminum cans and the device held up like a champion and was ready for more!! Works great on 12oz and 16oz soft drink and beer cans. Highly recommend this inexpensive option.

I was worried about how this would be when I ordered but was interested in the price as well as the size of can it can fit. It works great! Fit regular cans as well as taller energy drink cans easily! Bit of a workout after a few but it is very handy. Might get one for my grandma. Good metal too - feels sturdy.

I am not sure why there are such negative review about the quality of this can crusher. I guess the people that felt that way is probably because they did not mount it correctly or maybe they are just some of those that like to complain. I found this product to be well built and does exactly what is advertised. I will definitely recommend this product. Albeit I have only had this for a short time but i don't feel like I will encounter any problems, it seems to be very well constructed with heavy duty materials.

My husband crushes a decent amount of cans per week, maybe two 13 gallon garbage bags full. This crusher did not even last 1 year, the metal started bending in and giving out.

Personal Experience:My wife and I have been drinking more since the stay in place order. In order to reduce the amount of bags I use for recycling I decided to install 2 can crushers. This can crusher has been easy to use and crushes large and small cans alike. We go through multiple sized cans but mainly the pint sized because we drink Guinness. The can crusher easily reduces the pint sizes by and almost 5 to 1 ratio.
