I use the flat iron frequently and I needed a product that would give me some protection from the heat without leaving my hair oily, heavy and dull." Bain de Terre - recovery complex anti-frizz" is wonderful!!! It leaves my hair silky, shiny and easy to take care.I am impressed with this product. Usually I use the flat iron after blow drying my hair. I have long hair, and I use 3x a drop of the size of a dime on my damp hair; I spread it from the top to the ends. I leave my hair to dry naturally until it is almost dry. Then I blow dry my hair and I use right after the flat iron. Since I started using this product I notice that it was completely different than the other product I was using before. It makes my hair beautiful and soft for several days. After the flat iron I finish the look with 2 drops - dime size of Biosilk Therapy, another great product. These combination let my hair really nice! I don't know how it would work on other types of hair. By the way, like Camila, my hair is long, curly and dry. This product make it very smooth. I hope it helps.

It's a little pricey, but worth every penny. A little bit goes a long way and makes your hair look sleek & smooth. It's a great quality product that I've been using for years.

I have faithfully used this Bain de Terre recovery complex serum since 1991. I usually order two bottles per year. Sometimes an extra if spending time in certain areas. Most people I have recommended this to only need the 4oz once per year. It will depend on your hair type. I have A LOT of hair. Long, thick, wavy on the outer layers, ringlets underneath. I abuse the heck out it. This serum is magic in a bottle. It tames my unruly hair, adds beautiful shine, MAINTAINS the health of my hair, and has repaired my locks following the times I decided to try something different (aka Morrocan Oil because I LOVED the scent). I sometimes use extra to detangle. For my hair, it is lightweight. If your hair is really thin, adjust the amount you use. There is a very soft scent but only noticeable if you are really paying attention. Make certain you are purchasing a new version of the product... meaning you aren’t purchasing a product that has been on the shelf for a few years. The color of the lid is a huge indicator. I always go to Bain de terre website and check before ordering on amazon. NOTHING will compare to this product.

Best shine serum for my hair. I use when my hair is still damp and rub my ends, and then finger through my strands using just a couple of squirts. It doesn't take much. I air dry and style and it leaves a nice shine, not greasy at all. This bottle lasts a long time. No scent and a product I have been using since the 1990s.

This is a wonderful product. It is a very light styling product and it makes hair shine like diamonds.

It's a fantastic product, have been using it the last few years and despite of price increase I still buy it. My hair type is somewhat fine with a bit of wave. After wash and towel day I put a bit on my palm and rub it on my hair mostly half way to bottom , get's immediately untangled without being oily, it gives a soft shiny healthy look, I can style it anyway I want. I passed on a bit to my friend who has a nice beautiful curly short hair and was complaining nothing works on her, but after her first try she fell in love with it and bought it instantly.. I also use the Rise, n Shine volumizing foam Mousse of the same brand which is another great product. it gives my hair a bit of volume without being sticky or weighting it down, I use the two products together, nothing else! I get a lot of compliment on how healthy my hair looks like..100% recommended, you won't regret it.
