I bought this remote to replace the one that came with my great Vizio TV because the volume controls stopped working. I was surprised that a virtually identical new remote was under $7. Better yet, it works with no programming (by the user) at all. Simply add a pair of AAA batteries and it's ready to go. For some reason it took a few mins for all funtions to start working properly and I was afraid it wasn't going to work with my particular TV. But I kept fiddling with it and within five minutes the volume and on/off, etc. were working fine. Does it self program? I don't know, but yep, it works fine. I can't believe how cheap it was and I think I'll buy an extra just to have. A bargain.

This remote has been great! I bought a Vizio E322AR from a garage sale for $5 and it had no remote. I ordered this and it came earlier than the expected date. This works great, worked when I just put 2 AAA batteries in I just turned on my tv and everything works. All the buttons work including the VIA button and the Amazon Netflix and MGO buttons. This product is great and you can’t even tell it’s a replacement!

Worked fine for an older Vizio TV , non smart TV , should work fine for a smart one also. You do have to be facing straight on the TV , some side shots don’t work “ 10 - 15 degrees or so” move more in front and it works fine. That might be more of a problem of the TV not the remote .

When I tell you this was the money I spent. I was in a serious clutch, my tv is almost 10 years old also the remote that came with. One day I noticed all the buttons worked except for the volume buttons. I looked around on local websites but didn’t want to go through the hassle of universal generic route, with the risk of it not connecting, I’m not tech savvy at all. Boy when I tell you all I did was put batteries in this remote and it worked!!!!. This save a lot of time and stress! Would highly recommend!

We lost our tv remote and thought we’d have to buy a whole new tv. All the “universal remotes” said I need the tv remote to set it up, bummer because we Didn’t have that. This remote, when it came(with out batteries, you’ll need 2 AAA) it worked for our tv IMMEDIATELY i didn’t have to set anything up at all!

Found rotten batteries in our previous remote and needed a new one for our Vizio but couldn’t find one until we found this universal one! So thankful! It works perfectly and is actually BETTER than the original remote we had!
