Bostitch Office Modern LED Desk Light, 8W, White (VLED1821WHITE-BOS)

This light is great for our desk. We do not have ceiling lights which before we moved we were use to. This has different ranges for lighting and adjustable besides so it works for using computer or sitting and writing letters, etc.

My Dad has very poor eyesight and was using a hand-held light to read by. This lamp is so awesome. Now, he can see all the print in the newspaper or his mail without holding something and the light is directly over his reading material. This light offers the perfect brightness and it is easy to adjust if needed by sliding the finger up or down the simple scale on the base. This is a well built lamp -- high quality. (Plus the lamp arm can bend to adjust the height of the light if needed).

One of my older Tensor brand gooseneck High Intensity lamps died, I needed something to replace it. I took a chance on this Bostich lamp even though it's reminiscent of the 1954 War of the Worlds alien ships. It shows up, I plug it in, and find it to be totally no brainer to run. Tap/Touch the front slider membrane control thing and you have continuous control of brightness. Tap at the top and it gives me at least 3 choices for color balance. I always choose the warm white flavors. Very pleasing! VERY easy to use, and I now find it's initially "funny" WOTW retro sci-fi look to be an asset. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Bostich of all people...who knew? P.S. I also point it up against the wall that is behind my 4K TV for "ambience" - works very well. Love it!

This is a very bright light. It can be used to light up a room. It has both a fluorescent setting (white light) and a lamp (classic light bulb effect) setting. You can also adjust the brightness from dim to bright. I love the USB port, great for charging my phone at my desk without having to stretch cords to the wall outlet-so convenient. The lamp head is flexible to fit almost any space. I have a book case shelf that is over my desk and it fits perfectly!

I love the style, sturdiness, and light settings. But the on/off button has a blue light that doesn’t turn off, making the room brighter than it needs to be (and blue light is especially bad)

I bought a very similar lamp from Costco about 10 years ago. It had two USB outlets and the smooth gooseneck with multiple levels of brightness and warmth. It became the lamp by my bed. One day it stopped working for whatever reason and I couldn't find a replacement. I bought a new power adapter thinking it was broken - it wasn't, I went on the internet looking for the manufactuer and couldn't find a new product. I even came here and bought what I thought was the closest thing to what I was looking for (was disspointed), but on a whim one day I came here and somehow it's like Amazon knew what I wanted, and gave it to me. An almost equal to what I had before lamp. Same size, same features, everything except it only has one usb, and that's ok, because one of the two in the past didn't have enough AMPS to fully charge my phone. So, this is a no brainer. IF you like the look of this on the site, it is what you get.
