This was a replacement for one I lost that had worked wonderfully for 2 years.

Does exactly what it says. I bought it to check my game camera pics and could not be happier. Extremely easy to use.

Worked perfectly for me. I had a bunch of old SD cards of different sizes, from old phones and digital cameras, and this worked great for transferring all the media from them onto my new phone. Now I have a lot of my memorable pictures back that I thought were lost forever. Really cool product at a great price.

This card reader looks well-made and is a nice size. I like that it can be used with both sizes of SD cards and with a thumb drive. However, it was not that easy to figure out how to use it, so I knocked it down one star. Was that fair? I am not sure. Whether or not this card reader works easily may have everything to do with one's particular tablet or phone. I expected to plug it in and be able to insert a card and immediately find photos or files. It wasn't that easy. After searching online for help and viewing several videos, I finally found a video that helped. At least I knew that it should work for my tablet. Through trial and error, I discovered that I must put a card or thumb drive into the reader BEFORE plugging it into my tablet. Then, I can open "files" and find the photos or docs on my card. Before inserting another card or a thumb drive, I have to disconnect the reader and insert whatever I want to read and then connect the reader to my tablet again. I can't put both a card and a thumb drive in the reader at the same time and view photos/files on both. These were limitations I did not expect based on my old tablet (same brand just updated model) and readers I have used before the "type c" connection. Now that I know how to use this reader, I am happy to have it. However, learning to use it was a bit frustrating. Hopefully, the details I have included will help you with your set up if you choose to buy this.

I installed a free photo APP on my Samsung Galaxy phone to get the card reader to work properly, and it works great to view trail cam photos in the field.

Great for the new phones, that have room for 1 card only, you can connect to your phone (I have a Samsung S25) and back up and download what ever you need, good tool to have with your phone.

Got this to look through old memory cards and USB drives with my phone since I don’t own a computer anymore. Very easy to use and read everything with no issues

This items worked alright for several months, and now it keeps recognizing the device then glitching back off, so that there isn't a stable connection for the device to read any cards. Really annoying and I cannot use it now because of this. It worked for a time but now I can't use it at all in fear of corrupting files if I am transferring them or working from the connection using this device. **Update** the company was able to communicate quickly regarding making things right with a refund, and got back to me promptly about it. So a plus to them with communication and caring about customer service.
