First off I want to say that this is my first time ever trying a kit like this, and I LOVE it! That being said, there were a few things that I wish I would’ve known before trying this kit for the first time: - This stuff gets everywhere! Be really careful where you put down your brush/spatula (you’ll understand once you get the kit) with the sticky nail mixture on it (I leaned mine over a bottle cap…make sure it’s something you don’t mind throwing away) - when you even out the mixture on the plastic mould with the slip solution (again, you’ll understand once you read the instructions), start from the base of the nail, and pull the brush up towards the tip of the nail until you get the length you want instead of brushing from side to side or top-down (make sure you get the edges too) - THIS ONE HELPED A LOT!! I took the UV light, and propped it up to where the light is facing me instead of facing down. When you put the nail mould with the sticky stuff on your nail and put it under the UV light, there is a very high chance that the mould will start coming off when you let go of it under the light. With the light facing me, I hold the tip of the mould and press it against my nail while leaning it against the light. When I feel the solution harden, I let go. This ensures that the top of your nail is flat and smooth! All in all, I’m very pleased with my results after my first attempt. Now I know how to make the second time around look a lot better! This product is definitely worth the price and I recommend it 100%!

Was super excited to use this kit. Got my item the day after I ordered :) This is PERFECT for anyone who doesn’t want to pay that chunk of money every 2 weeks for nail salons. This was my first try at this, and I think I did pretty darn good! - So definitely beginner friendly. I wanted to make sure they came out perfect for my first try, so I lasted a little over 2 hours. So worth it! Almost a week since that picture and my nails still look great!! Can’t wait to try every color :)

The gel products were great and easy to use for the most part ( I am just terrible at doing my nails). Thee light was super quick at curing the gel. Great price for the amount of stuff you get. If your someone looking into an easy way of learning to do your own nails (or others nails) then I would recommend this kit.

However, the quality of the nail lamp is not the best, and some gels are a bit thick, making application tricky. Overall, it's a decent kit, but there’s room for improvement.

Product works great once you figure out the best way for you to do it. I’ll never have to go to a salon again. Lots of people ask my where I got my nails done, when I say I done them they are shocked. You gotta do it a few times to get the hang of it but once you do you will be very satisfied. Hope this helps, and good luck ladies. I only gave 3 stars on the removal because it does take time getting it off. Nail drill helps with the use of this.

Day & 1/2 caused severe allergic reaction. Ingredients on the products in this kit are not readily available. Contacted vendor prior to doctor - no reply still. Dermatologist has see this in an increasing number of patients with the warning of life long allergies now and should advise dentist & doctor’s. I am left with blistered fingertips, surrounded cuticles, tops & palms of hands. Itching is incredible with pain that takes me to my knees when bumping fingertips. Also top of thigh where my leg was crossed, as shown in the attached picture, when applying products where residual products dropped during process & where towel was laying to clean application brush. This area is now going purple. PAINFUL!!! Take heed and research PolyGel Nail Allergies. I am now on script steroids and two types of antihistamines to get this under control. Plus the doctors cost. I had such hopes for this product. The warnings and ingredients should be more transparent to the buyer.

This is an amazing product. I generally don't do much to my nails, nothing or just nail polish, or I get them professionally done. I got this kit to try and cut down on the cost of a nail salon and I think this will be perfect! I like my nails short because I work on my computer, and haven't figured out how to type with longer nails. This was my first attempt, and despite botching it miserably, they look alright! They won't pass a close-up inspection but right now they don't need to. With practice I know I'll get better. They also feel a lot stronger than I was expecting. I did make them too thick, but I don't think they will be as flimsy as I was afraid of, when I actually do them right. Since I'm not a nail tech, or even someone who takes care of my nails, I didn't even have the basics. This kit came with a cuticle cutter, nail clippers and nail files, so I had everything I needed to start off!
