Update to this good review after 2 months of use or so- make sure you do not exceed the FILL LINE. If you do, pressure builds up inside and there can be a gasket leak. This is NOT a product fault; it is USER ERROR. I had this leakage happen a couple of times but now I am more careful and there are no problems! I use frozen fruit, and I think when it heats up during blending it expands. Here is my original review: My original Ninja Auto iQ "Nutri Ninja Pro" blade assembly was about 5 or 6 years old and had started to leak black goop on the drive side. I still have to clean out the hardened goop from the main body of the machine- I had not noticed that it was slowly deteriorating. As they say, "it didn't owe me anything", as I use it pretty much every day to make breakfast smoothies, and five years lifetime is great. This replacement is super sharp, fits perfectly, and after two weeks of use I am super glad that I got it. Also, this may be my imagination, but it seems like it screws onto the plastic cups easier than the old one, which I often had to try to not cross-thread. Very satisfied and I recommend it. Replace yours before the black goop leaks all over your counter and hardens in the machine and is a pain to clean.

Horrible product and service. I purchased the item and within a month it had a crack in it. We use the product the way it is supposed to be used so it is not user error. I messaged the company last month and they never responded.

I wore out our old blender blade. It was leaking on and off, so it was time for a replacement. The old one was over 2 years old and was leaking through the bottom. It wasn't a simple gasket replacement in this instance. So, I ordered this replacement blade. It's just like the old one only new and does not leak. I recommend this replacement blade. It works great and I use it every day to make smoothies. I grind up frozen fruit, so it takes a beating. I highly recommend this replacement blade. Just make sure you purchase the correct one. I initially had ordered a different one and had to return it. It was the wrong size.

I don't know what hateful engineer at Ninja thought it would be a good idea to make multiple interfaces between their mixer bases and the containers. Perhaps it is a ploy to make customers so frustrated with replacing parts that they just give up and buy another Ninja. For me, I would just get a Vitamix, but since the rest of my family was in love with the Ninja, I had to get parts. Five times. One of those times I failed to notice that each model of mixer Ninja makes has a different interface between the mixer and the container and got the wrong one. The other three times the parts supplier sent the wrong part because they did not seem to understand how to write a product description or know what it was that they were selling and if it even worked as they promised. Once I had the right part, everything was golden. It took almost 10 weeks to get parts though and that was a pain. The fit was perfect, it was easy to use, and seemed to be of the same quality as the original. That is what I expect from replacement parts so I am not going to go all gaga about this thing. I am offering a review so that others might avoid the torture that I had to go through and just make darn sure that the part you order is the exact right part for their machine.
