Good tablet, especially for the price
I was looking for a tablet that worked well and was not expensive. For the price I paid it's great. It functions well and fast, including watching videos on Youtube, Netflix, or Hulu. I am satisfied with the battery, it lasts a while even when I am using it a lot and watching videos doesn't drain it quickly. Most of the features I love and it functions well, but I gave it a 4 star because it comes with pre-loaded games and apps that I do not necessairly want and it gives me a hard time to uninstall them, which takes up hard drive space. I wish it didn't have them and gave me more flexibility to get the apps I really care about. Other than that I love it and would highly recommend it overall.

Will never buy again
Received order as "brand new", screen didnt work-therefore could not use it. Sent to manufacturer, turned it on, and the screen was a mirror-image of itself. I did not even bother with sending it back. It has been thrown away. If there was an option for zero or a negative number in the reveiw, I would have chosen that. I will never buy a Visual Land product again.

Not too happy overall
Does not have a back view to tak pictures and case cover speaker so even with hi volume its hard to hear.. Not too happy about it ..the price is not bad for a 5yrs old to use it but I had to returned it.

SO much bloatware
I bought this for my son, specifically for movies and in hopes that I could pry my iPad out of his cold, greedy hands. I've only played with it for a little while so I may update this review as time passes. My son is under 2 but he's allowed to watch some Mickey Mouse and Sesame street episodes when we are in the car and traveling. We live overseas so our flights are incredibly long to visit family. I can't do anything on my own iPad if he's watching a show so he doesn't yell the whole time on a plane. This seemed to be the cheapest option - we are still exploring our Nook Color as a tablet for him but I figured I'd give this a shot first. ****UPDATE**** The battery life has gotten progressively terrible and the volume buttons stick out on the side which makes it incredibly hard to put in a tablet mount. We've ended up replacing this with an iPad Mini (which has MUCH better battery life). I used a warranty claim on the battery situation - we were down to about 90 minutes or so of functionality before it would just die, that will never last a plane ride- and upgraded. Pros: 1) Price. Hands down the price. I snagged this thing on sale at a store that has an in-house warranty program. If it gets broken, eats itself, stops charging, whatever, I get my money back - the cost of the replacement plan. 2) 7" tablet, good for little hands 3) Android is decent with the plug, play, drop and external memory expansion - this has all of the above and has a convenient Micro SD slot. 4) No mechanical home button. If you have a toddler and an apple product, you know exactly what I mean. If I have to hear, "Siri not available", one more time, I might lose it. 5) If he throws this and breaks it, I won't be heartbroken. 6) Access to the Play store, there are a LOT of free apps like Kid Mode, which are free to download and can lock the tablet on specific screens and limit access. We use guided access mode on the iPad, but this app allows for multiple app choices so you're not constantly backing out to switch apps or something. 7) Wall charger AND USB charging - it just happens to use 2 different cords for this which seems redundant. Cons 1) Battery life is so-so, so far. 2) BLOATWARE - criminy. You can't even uninstall IMDB, why do I need an IMDB app, I don't know, but it's permanently living on this tablet amongst some other apps I can't use (Pandora, random games, wal-mart - for real?, and Facebook). Short of rooting this thing, these apps are taking up a ridiculous amount of space that I could easily replace with age-appropriate games, activities and movies. I HATE bloatware - this is exactly why we have apple products now. 3) Does it look generic? Yes. 4) Hard time finding toddler proof cases - see, impossible. I managed to find a headrest mount that I purchased on amazon but as far as him holding this thing, I haven't found a suitable destructoproof case yet. I did get one with a generic leather type case which is fine for now, but not ideal. 5) Space available. 8gb is an understatement, it's really closer to 5 with the bloat. We will be using a microSD card to expand so that I don't have to constantly change the content because eventually Inspector #4 gets ridiculously annoying. (bonus points if you get the reference). Overall, it's a decent cheap tablet for a kid. I've heard rumors of charging issues but I figured we'd give it a shot and see how long this battery is going to last on a trial run. If it's shot already, we'll take it back. If you do get this tablet, I would fully explore an after-market warranty or details of the return policy to make sure you are covered.
