Having read various positive and negative reviews about this, I was really undecided and not sure what to expect, especially as it is quite expensive for a thermal mug. Now that I've used it on a daily basis for several weeks now I can categorically highly recommend it - and it is worth every penny. It doesn't leave a metallic aftertaste; it keeps my tea piping hot for several hours (and still drinkable 10 hours later!); it doesn't leak at all; it is fairly easy to clean (but like every other mug I have had, there is a build-up around the ridges in the lid); it is sturdy and very well made. I know some reviewers have commented that the spring broke after a short period of time but I have not had any issues with this. Like everything, I tend to be quite gentle when dismantling/opening the various bits for cleaning. I have also only once experienced a bit of 'drip-age' when I went to take another mouthful and dribbled down my top. On watching what I did, it was entirely 'operator error' and was because I took my finger off the button while the mug was still tilted. Having realised what I did, I now make sure that I have the mug vertical before releasing the button - no more drip-age! You will not be disappointed with this item and I have no hesitation in recommending it.

I use this mug every day. It keeps my coffee hot and drinkable throughout the day. I refill 4x per day. It also safe to use around IT equipment so if it accidentally gets tipped over, no drama and no spillage. Heat it up with boiling water first for about 1 minute if you want to extend the amount of time it keeps your coffee hot. Highly recommended 👍

Very good mug, I’ve had a Contigo mug before and I would go for one again in the future if getting a new one. The only tricky bit is cleaning the inside of the lid. It keeps my drinks hot for a good long period and doesn’t drip or leak at all. The design is good and the grip makes it almost impossible for it to slip out your hand or you to drop it

I got two of these, 8 of the previous style and one of the style before that. There was 2. R.I.P. Cofi. Like coffee only spelt different. It never stood a chance.

2nd one I've bought, a bit pricey but worth it. The fist one I've had for years, (black) the paint scratched after a while so I used a scourer to scrub it all off and the rubber grip eventually stretched so I removed it but I did put it in the dishwasher so that's probably why but it's still going strong and keeps my drinks hot or cold for a few hours.

So I have a few different travel cups, this is without doubt the best. Keeps things warm for a good couple of hours, easy to hold, more importantly the press button to drink arrangement is the best on the market in my opinion. It keeps the liquids in, but when you need to drink, you don’t end up playing scalded mouth roulette as you do with other brands. I already had a very similar one of these for circa 10 years, but it’s been dented and is starting to look worse for wear, bought this as a back up/spare for when the other one is in use/finally gives up the ghost and don’t regret it.

The Contigo has in theory a good auto seal, but lots of mess is left round the spout when you drink, sometimes enough drops to spill if it fell over, even though sealed. Or maybe I'm a messy drinker. Was surprised to find it doesn't fit cup holders but then it is actually very large. Bought this because I left my 720°DGREE Travel Mug at a friends and won't have it back for a while. The 720 Dgree is superior in every way: better sealing, keeps liquids hotter for longer, drinks cleanly, better quicker opening, fits cup holders. Looks cooler too. The Contigo will go back in the cupboard when I get my 720 Dgree back.

I own 2 of these travel cups, there strong, sturdy, leakproof and look nice, you can drop them into your bag and even if there upside down they don’t leak even a drop, I won’t buy any other travel cup than these, id definitely recommend to friends and family.

Me encantó el termo, se ve muy elegante y la tapa muy funcional, no se derrama una gota, es el segundo que compro de la marca porque es mi favorita, duran mucho tiempo y mantienen las bebidas frías o calientes por más tiempo. Súper lo recomiendo

Najlepszy kubek jakiego używałem. Biorąc go do ręki masz pewność, że obcujesz z produktem marki premium. Gumowa powłoka wokół kubka powoduje, że bezpiecznie trzyma się go w ręku. Antypoślizgowa podstawa zabezpiecza przed niekontrolowanym przesunięciem n.p. na śliskiej powierzchni biurka. Jako kierowca szczególnie doceniam system "autoseal" - mogę bezpiecznie pić jadąc nawet po totalnych wertepach bez obawy, że się pochlapię. Dodatkowe zabezpieczenie systemu poprzez obrotowy element na pokrywie powoduje, że oprócz samego zabezpieczenia chroni ustnik przed dotykiem brudnymi rękoma lub czymkolwiek co znajduje się w plecaku. A do plecaka można wrzucić kubek bez najmniejszych obaw, że cokolwiek się z niego wyleje bo jest idealnie szczelny. Możliwość mycia w zmywarce ułatwia dbanie o czystość kubka i pokrywy. Długo utrzymuje temperaturę płynu. Ja dodatkowo przed użyciem zalewam kubek na kilka minut wrzącą wodą. Ten zabieg znacznie wydłuża czas utrzymania wysokiej temperatury kawy lub herbaty.

Everything is great, the look, the sip don't reach hot to your mouth like other thermoses, practical auto seal, durable material.. Just I liked if one could dismantle all the lid parts, but otherwise it's one of best thermoses one can get I guess... Though i didn't try emsa ones yet to compare
