This is a solid product, sleek looking and functional. I have 5 guitars mounted easily on one stand; recommend. The holes are not predrilled - but that is a good thing because you need to take care when aligning the 48” mount plate with the 16” on center (depending on your builder) to hit all 4 studs. It’s doable, I mounted two of them and I have a third one on the way.Amazon fulfillment diatribe: the third one actually arrived today, I was hoping to install it but it was the wrong color again so I returned it. Awaiting a replacement (this happened twice now from Amazon fulfillment, I ordered black and they have sent me white).

Really impressed, clever design. That tap/screw system design is great, made drilling through the metal a breeze. Definitely need two people to put it up but it took less than 30 minutes.

Great way to get the guitars off the floor and save space.It is very sturdy, just make sure to use the studs to hang it with. I love the way the guitars can be positioned at different angles so you're not limited to one.It took some effort to hang it, nothing awful. I did not find the plastic tube spacer until after the installation. It was stuck inside the one hanger I didn't use at first. That would have certainly made the install easier. Perhaps they could pack it in a way that it could be found easily? I did call support when I realized that the space I wanted to use would only allow 6 of the screws to be in the studs and was assured that would suffice.I purchased this March 2021, it has held 3 heavy basses and 2 electric guitars since then and it now holds an additional electric guitar with no problem.It's very sturdy, looks very nice, saves space, and keeps the guitars protected from falling over as they were prone to do leaning against a wall or sitting in a guitar stand. I consider that a good value for the money.

Replaced 3 individual hangers with this. The space gained is great! Looks great! Works great! Went from 3 guitars side by side to 5 guitars. Feels sturdy and looks good...This is plenty doable by yourself with some light duty double sided tape in place of a helper. I leveled and mounted just one side then added the right side (in my case, go crazy, go right then left!). Once I positioned the first piece and drilled the mounting holes, I removed it and took the tape off then re-attached it. Get yourself some light duty two-sided tape and be creative. Fun little project that ends up with great results when done right.The end caps are a bit "cheesy" in my opinion and I left them off after doing a test run. They have a hole that was probably there for hanging during the powder coat process but seriously make the end result look cheap. Open ends look fine. Everything about all the pieces provided is all about keeping costs down. The important parts, the hangers, are done nicely and are sturdy.Bottom line...mount two chunks of powder coated extruded aluminum to your wall and hang five of your favorite guitars and be very happy.

This thing is very solid and it came in perfect condition. No blemishes or scratches of any kind. It has all the hardware that you will need and even comes with a drill bit shim that helps stabilize the bit when drilling through the metal. The end caps give it a nice aesthetic touch and it looks professional yet simple.Installation is not for the meek but anyone who is fairly handy will be able to get it hung. Having a second pair of hands would make mounting it a lot easier. I recommend using a small drill bit or a punch to get the holes in the metal started, then follow up with the full-sized drill bit after that. Honestly I am very impressed with the overall quality of this rack. It is pricey but it's worth every penny when you consider that it will be holding thousands of dollars worth of guitars.
