As long as the compound does not contain any kind of solvents that attack acrylic, it could work. This product makes any gloves touch-screen compatible. **Q: would this work on hard plastic, acrylic, and har fiberglass** A: Never worked on anything learher ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked great for motorcycle gloves and iPhone *by D***L on November 7, 2016* I used this product for my motorcycle gloves and myiPhone in a waterproof case. It works AMAZING.In order to get it to work I had to apply a generously thick coating. I did three pairs of gloves, the thumb and forefinger. My two pairs of leather gloves required one thick coat to work and the non leather gloves required two think coats.Cons: If there's any downside to this product it's that the bottle only lasted enough for 12 fingers, two fingers on each hand on three pairs of gloves. At the end of the bottle you can pour it on and spread with the brush as the brush does not reach all the way to the bottom.Summary: Works great when applied correctly. ### ⭐ Waste of money *by G***Y on January 18, 2015* Works about as well as a hammer does at driving in a screw. I have to grudgingly concede that the product can work with a touchscreen. But it does not work very well. The directions say to paint it on a 1" x 1" area of the fingertip. This does not work. It only seems to work if you get it on a small area. We had some success with my wifes ski gloves because they are thick with a well defined corner. When we painted that corner it seems to work about 50% of the time. On my gloves which are neoprene like with rubber finger tips no such luck. The only way I get those gloves to work is to take them off, pinch the finger tip to a fine point and use the glove like a stylus. So for my time and money my wife has a pair of gloves which sort of work with her smartphone and I have a pair of black gloves with a shiny right pointer finger.If you need gloves that are smartphone compatible for you daily life just spend the money on new gloves designed to work from the ground up. If like me you just wanted to be able to use a smartphone during a short trip, then buy a cheap stylus.If you opt for this product heed the warning about ensuring the product is dry. I dried it with a hair drier and let it cool. It felt dry to the touch and nothing came off when I dabbed it with paper towel. But when I went to try it on my phone it left a streak on my screen protector. I immediately tried to wipe it off, but it seems to have instantly bonded to the screen protector. Thankfully I don't use a bare screen on my phone. ### ⭐⭐ Less than satisfactory performance. *by L***O on September 14, 2017* I have tried this on two gloves. I attempted both methods described in the instructions. First applying it on the pointer finger of the left hand glove in two coats and allowing it to dry overnight between coats. Then I applied two coats to the pointer finger of the right hand glove, but used a heat gun to dry each coat.On the left glove, the material started to peel off after only about two weeks of light use (it has been raining a lot so I have only had a few good days to get out on the motorcycle). On the right glove, there is no sign of peeling. However, I am not very impressed with how the material works on the screen of my phone. It requires a lot of effort to get it to actually work.
