COLIBROX 2 pcs Cuttings White Orchid Cactus Epiphyllum Oxypetalum

I ordered my cuttings in 2019. I received a bonus leaf cutting (3 total) rather than 2, about 6-7 inches in length and relatively “young” looking. I honestly didn’t think they would be successful, however only paid $7 plus shipping. I put all 3 cuttings into a small pot with cactus/potting soil mix and noticed growth in a couple of weeks. I’ll be honest, I neglected the cuttings at first, yet the plant would double/triple in size each year. I transferred the plant into a 4 gallon plastic pot in 2022. The plant was kept in a very humid sun/plant room for last 4 years and I think this was the key to it’s exponential growth. I also fertilize and water it, using water from our koi pond. Up until 2023, I would notice flower bud growth, however they would eventually fall off. I considered tossing the plant at one point because I was constantly having to tie it up with stakes as it would get very “leggy” with no blooms to motivate me. I never trimmed back the plant and would let stems fall off naturally due to it’s weight or accidental bumps. Finally, in 2023, I had 1 successful bloom at the end of summer and this gave me hope. It’s now September 2024, and we have had 10+ successful blooms since August. Tonight, I had 5 bloom simultaneously, starting at 8PM, and was so glad to be home to witness it. The scent is lovely. I plan to trim some leaves off to give to plant loving friends/neighbors, since I know this plant isn’t a “dud”, haha. I wish this white epiphyllum’s blooms lasted more than a few hours (9PM-daylight). I have 2 red epiphyllum plants and their blooms will last 2-3 days and the plant is a lot easier to manage, with no staking required.

I ordered this item five months ago. To my surprise, I received three cuttings instead of two. Two of the cuttings were in perfect condition. The third one was smaller in size but I was delighted to have an extra one. I gave one of the regular cuttings to my mom and kept the other two. I planted my two cuttings on the same pot. The regular cutting stood up straight within days. Within a few weeks, new stems started to grow. The second cutting took much longer to start growing. Both plants look incredible now. I have attached a picture I took today after 5 months of purchase. I use no fertilizer, just water. I cannot wait until they start blooming! Update It's now a year later and these amazing cuttings have produced their first blooms. I stayed up enjoying the amazing fragrance and their beauty. I'm so happy with this purchase!

I got mine about three weeks ago, after watching a video online I decided to just place them in water and now they have a root about half an inch long, I am going to wait a little more to plant them in soil, but so far I am very happy they are alive and looking healthy! UPDATE kept In water FOR ABOUT Three MONTHS, plenty of roots about 11/2 inches long ,and leaves are healthy , I planted in some dirt about a month ago, still alive. No new leaves have grown yet, but very healthy. I’m glad they have not died yet.

the cuttings came within a few days of ordering> they were of good size and were very healthy. as of right now they are growing. I hope to buy more from this grower.

I have had the three cuttings in water since they arrived in mid February, and they are already showing signs of progress. I will post more photos of their progress in the weeks to come. Update: July 27, 2020. I transferred the cuttings from the water jar into this temporary flower pot a few months ago, and took these new photos last week. Within 24 hours of these photos, the new shoots had grown by no less than 1/2 inch. Adding a low flow drip irrigation system with the Eve Aqua valve controller has been a significant help in this extremely hot climate across the Southeast. More photos to come shortly.

I received two orchid cactus cuttings from this seller. Cuttings were wrapped in saran wrap and bubble wrap which was sufficient for the journey. Cuttings arrived in okay condition. I agree with the other writer who noted that the cuttings seemed thin (and flimsy). They also seem to be too new. I posted a pic for comparison. The darker leaf (top) is an orchid cactus I recently purchased. The leaves are thick and dark. The lighter, more delicate looking one on the bottom of the two is what I just received. Will wait to see how it does.

I really love the plant cuttings ! They arrived today and they are in perfect condition and they are a very generous size. I planted them right away, I already had the pots ready for them. I had some of them a few years ago and they were very easy to care for. I am very pleased and excited to have them again. I recommend this plant from this vendor. Thanks.

This came to me in good condition. After what seemed like forever of patient watering and gentle care it grew a new leaf. In the last few weeks I now have several new shoots coming from both leaves. I ordered these on May 22, 2015 - so as you can see it was several months before I saw my first new growth. Patience and diligence is what is needed to get these going. It may be longer than I personally want (I love immediate results) but in the end I will be blessed with these gorgeous blooms - even if it takes me a few more years to get the growth and blossoms.
