After waiting for them to pop up in a 9 for what seemed like eternity, I just bit the bullet and ordered the 9.5. To me, going a full size up seems to have been a good decision, at least when I wear them with socks. I think 9 still would have been too small. This is unusual for Seychelles, because I have many pairs of shoes/boots from them and they usually fit very true to size. Another issue I had was that these boots had visibly been tried on before - the left boot was wrinkled as if someone had been desperately trying to wedge their foot in. The gold on the heel of this boot was also scuffed. In the grand scheme of things, I will probably end up amassing similar wear and tear on these boots, but it was a disappointing to receive a $100+ pair of shoes in such a condition. Aside from the sizing and packaging issues, I absolutely love the boots themselves. They're incredibly cute and comfortable. Although I am normally not one for shiny gold accents, but these don't feel obnoxious at all.
