However, considering the price was so much lower than the name brand counterparts I decided to take a chance. I'm glad I did.I purchased two of these as I had a large county fair performance where we were to provide some appropriately bright lighting, and my old bank of 28v Aircraft Landing Lights (ACLs) just didn't make the grade anymore.Shipping was quite fast...I have expected at least 3 weeks...got it in 9 days. There was a minor cosmetic issue with one fixture when I received it. It did not affect functionality at all and was totally unnoticeable unless you look close. Not enough to complain about, especially considering the price!I tested them out as soon as I received them. When I lit them up in my office I was blown away.I set up for the fair and got them programmed for a basic blinder effect, a strobe effect, and used some of the built in programs to do some chases on a very low brightness...just to create some motion. I did all the programming in the afternoon before the band arrived, and even in the afternoon sunshine the lights could clearly be seen.I was somewhat disappointed that the support bracket could not be tightened down enough to hold the fixture at the angle I wanted. The fixture was just too heavy and there were no washers on the tightening knobs. I had to get a little creative to get them to the right angle. This was the main reason I took off a star. I really only wanted to take a half star off for this, but it wouldn't let me do that!Anyway, I did not tell the band about the new blinders. The show started, and the first time I lit them up full strength it was like the sun had come up. To a person the band members turned around to look at me like "WHAT WAS THAT?" They were in AWE!OK...so I realize that this was only the first show with them. The jury is still out in terms of their durability...I'll check back in a few months and let you know how they are holding up.
