Motul Gear 300 Fully Synthetic Gearbox Oil - 75W90 1L (Pack of 4)

2016 WRX 6sp transmission needs 75w90 without limited slip additive. I used redline previously and it was good. I heard that this is better. It has been 10k since I changed to this and it is better than worn/used redline, but probably about the same as when redline was new. This is a little less money, so I will use it next trans oil change. Smooth and no grinding if you keep good form.

Used in the Wife's 2016 Subaru Crosstrek manual transmission and differentials. Shifts seem less notchy.

Best manual transmission fluid yet for my 2004 Toyota corolla. Smoother and quieter than redline MT-90 in my car.

This is honestly the first project review I have written before. I had heard a lot of good things about this gear oil. I've got to say, this stuff is amazing! I just bought a 2013 WRX and the transmission felt super clunky and difficult to shift. I just changed the transmission fluid with this Motul 300 gear oil and it immediately felt like a new transmission. The shifts are smooth and enjoyable now. I will definitely be using this stuff in the future!

Recommended online on other (Subaru) sites. So gave it a try. Helped with some shifting issues, but I also had to adjust the clutch pedal to get full benefit.Would buy again.

I chose this product from a list of solid contenders and I am very happy that I did. Completing a gearbox and differential oil change at home is no easy task, but it is certainly doable! As a female car enthusiast who daily drives a 2013 Scion FR-S, I meticulously maintain my car not only out of pride but for the love of working on a car that you call your own. The spacing beneath the FR-S's transmission is not ample, but there is enough room to refill your transmission with Motul Gear 300 without the need of a pump. A pump would certainly make things move a lot faster and perhaps a bit more accurately (that's assuming you did your part in keeping your car leveled when lifted). However, I do not have a pump and did not feel the need to purchase a pump because the geniuses at Motul created a tube that is built into the bottle to allow you to feed the oil into the transmission. This leads me to why I gave this product 4-Stars instead of 5; the bottle itself is a bit on the thick side and made it difficult to invert into a tight space and squeeze the fluid into the transmission all at once. To rate the gear oil itself, I would give it 5/5 stars. The difference in shifting is night and day for me, especially in 2nd gear. Cold days used to be a burden as 2nd gear crunched for what felt like a lifetime.In addition, I also chose to put this same fluid into my differential! The process to change and refill for the differential was extremely easy due to the clearance and space. Although this product is pricier than OEM fluids, any twin owner should know that you will be very pleased with how your car shifts after putting this oil into the gearbox. I did my change approximately 2.5 months ago and the only thing I regret is not doing it SOONER!

So I switched back to this from the oem and I had tried it before, didn’t notice much difference. Now with another 50k miles on the car it ended up being noticeable for this go around.Worth the little extra cash.
