Not exactly as described or pictured in a good way.
Bought this item going by the reviews. The item I received must be a newer or somehow different version because the rechargeable battery is indeed removable through a rear screw plug and it is a radial Lithium capacitor type battery I have never seen before. The housing is aluminum and appears the same as pictured except for the side slashes (///) which are more like three (XXX's). Seems quite sturdy and the green laser is plenty bright. The dot is clearly visible in bright daylight in either constant or strobe mode. Visible farther than I would normally consider targeting a pistol. So yes...I like it. I checked ADE's website but there really is not much info on this item. What I received is better than I expected. It is odd the listing doesn't even mention the housing is metal. I half expected it was going to be polymer like most of the other lasers out there. Good quality and the price is right. I mounted this on a Sig-P226, it looks good and fits perfect. Ran this laser for a total of 3 hours straight on a full charge before it finally shut off. The laser dot was bright throughout the entire test run with no apparent change in output. Again, I did not expect even the listed 90 minute operation but three hours! Either I received a fluke or this is just plain amazing. Re-charge time was about 1.5 hours.

Excellent quality, all the features
Very nice, super compact laser. Both solid and flashing modes are a nice addition. Perfect fit on G26. Finger position for ambidextrous switch is perfect and easily adjusted by sliding forward or back on the rail. Easily zeroed. Just returned a $300 guide rod laser because it was not accurate, had only flashing option and had no adjustment options. Not to mention it was a red laser. This was less than one third the price and has all of those features as well as a green laser which is much more visible. Rechargeable as well which is another plus over the guide rod laser with $20 battery packs that need replacing often. Laser can stay on while charging with USB cord with the convenient magnetic charging connector. Great laser with all the features and convenience at a fraction of the cost of others with less adaptability.

Super compact and a solid product.
No bigger than your thumb. Very low profile. Great for rifles with a high picatinny rails. Very bright laser dot. Only problem is with the junk hex wrenches included. The 1.5mm is useless - too small. Had to use my own tool to zero it in. I spent some time locating a replacement lithium capacitor battery. Found it at Gun1.com for $15. It's a small peanut size cylinder shaped battery. Unit seems solid with easy to mount rail adjustments and a magnetic charging adapter. Standard 5V USB. I may get another one for my AR-15.

Great Value Laser for Pistols!
I've been interested in getting a laser and trying it out on one of my pistols. Have been looking at the Streamlight TLR-2 HLG, but with a price tag over $300, I wanted to try something a little cheaper first to see if I even liked using a laser. In steps the Ade Advanced Optics HG54G. Mounted super easily onto my Glock 17 (Gen 4). Activation button sits just under your extended trigger finger - no problem turning on and off. The green laser is super bright and shining on a wall 15 yards away is not washed out at all - looks great! A quick adjustment down and to the right with the supplied allen wrench and now the beam sits just on top of my front sight post when my iron sights are aligned. Plugged the supplied cord into a USB port and the magnetic end jumped right onto the charging post on the laser. I love that it's rechargeable and doesn't require me to keep feeding it batteries. I have a similar rechargeable Olight and it has been great. Will test the laser out at the range this weekend, but I am very pleased with this purchase.

Great item! nice looking on your firearm! Not bulky easy install easy to use! Get 1
I received the item it was well packaged i installed it easy because i already knew it would fit my firearm. I do recommend purchasing a boresight carttidge to dial it in. It is easy to install and sight it in using the wrenches they supply to dial it in i was done in 15 minutes. The charging is magnetic which is simple. You have a choice between green and red beam. Once i dialed it in at 30 ft i compared the bore sight at 10 ft there was about a 3 inch drop which is easy yo compensate for if you are in a close range encounter! Great buy. Do yoursrlf a favor amd buy a cheap 9mm boresight to dial it in or you may spend more than that on ammo to dial it in! ADE GREAT JOB ! I will be buying another for my other g2c!

Game changer - read point 3!
1. The laser will run continuously for about 7 hours straight before turning off. I could not believe this so I ran the test three times. Same result. The green laser version only lasts about 4 to 5 hours in the test. 2. After it turns off, you can turn it on again and it will run for 5 minutes more. Several times. 3. This means you can turn the laser on before you leave the house. Holster it and go out for 6 or 7 hours and not have to worry about turning the laser on if you have to use your pistol! So the switch is not that important any more in most situations. Also it's rechargeable, so replacing or running out of batteries is not a concern! 4. if you turn it on in the blinking mode, it may last even longer than 7 hours - i haven't tested this yet. The blinking function is often used on laser sights to extend the battery life, so re-read point number 3. 5. It did not show any adverse symptoms under heavy recoil. Just be sure you tighten it down good. Mine loosen up after a few shots, but is no very secure after I re-tightened it harder. 6. The red beam is as bright, and big, as any Crimson Trace laser I own, (3 of them). The green laser version is also very bright, as green lasers tend to be. Pick your favorite color. Both are very bright in the low light/dark. Both are almost invisible outdoors in the bright sunlight. All laser suck in the bright sunlight outdoors. You will never be able to see a red laser against a reddish background in the daylight or a green laser against a greenish background. You have to be very close 3-5 yards from a reflective (white / light color) background to barely see the lasers in daylight. If your target is in a dark shadow, you might do better. Just plan on using your regular sights in the daylight outdoors. 7. The switch is a bit harder to turn on then some, but also less likely to turn off accidentally. I like the switch and it works distinctly well. Re-read point number 3. Turn it on and leave on in your holster while you are carrying. 8. The battery is replaceable if you wear it out; that's good. The magnetic charging head is a great idea. No need to worry about breaking a connector is you grab you pistol in an emergency while it is charging. It simply will fall away without hindrance. Use a 10,000 mah battery pack to charge it up while in your safe, etc. There is a red LED light to tell you it is connected and charging. That's good too. 9. Adjusting the sights can be sensitive. A small turn of the Allen wrench can swing the laser quite a bit, so be patient and adjust slowly in small increments. Pretty much the same for all the lasers I have owned (9). 10. Overall I am well pleased with this product.

Fit my Canik TP9FS like a glove
I'm really glad I bought this excellent little green laser (ADE HG54G rechargeable). I'd previously bought an Infilight laser that did not fit my Canik so I was apprehensive at shelling out nearly twice as much money for the ADE HG54G. But I needn't have worried. It arrived in only two days, it fit the pistol like a glove- very easy to install, no tiny fiddly bits like on the Infilight laser I'd previously bought from another company. The two sprung pegs, coupled with the easy allen key on the grip locked the laser in place. Zeroing in was easy too once I'd figured out which way to turn the elevation key. The unit is so lightweight it adds no discernible weight to the feel of the gun in your hand. Providing it holds zero at the range, I have no hesitation in recommending both the laser and the company to anyone.

Nice laser with minor issue.
The laser is very bright and fairly easy to install. Though, my issue is the on/off switch for the laser needs to be pressed twice to turn off the laser. Returned because of this, and the button is a bit cumbersome to press with index finger. Overall it is a nice laser and fit okay, wish it worked in the way I prefer.
