Battery Switch for Marine Boat RV ATV Vehicle 6V 12V 48V 60V Battery Disconnect

I installed this switch as a power disconnect for the DC side of a travel trailer. The lugs are robust and the switch seems to be substantial. The quarter turn from on to off is very positive. The mounting screws were included, which made installation a breeze.

If you don’t have a battery switch installed yet, it’s a must! This one was easy. Step 1: Use a 2” hole saw to drill the battery box Step 2: screw it in Step 3: wire up the black line and leave the positive the way it is. Step 4: turn the switch to off and drink a beer because that only took you about 30 minutes and you no longer have to unhook your terminal leads!

Although the unit came in an OpenBox its simplicity suggested that it would not have been damaged by others prior to me. I was right. The switch was installed with little effort and is a great addition to my electrical system. Sure..recommended.

Good quality. Just installed today. It works great.

I used a hole saw and mounted it from the back. Works well as of now hopefully it will sustain the elements.

Switch did not come apart like some illustrations. Had to mount as one piece. But it works and is a good fit for my project.

Recount this nothing would work

i bought one of these before that had removable tabs on the plastic base, which allowed you to run wires in from the side so the unit could be mounted directly to a surface, no holes required. this one had a shallower base with no removable tabs so, for large wires i needed to drill a large hole to pass the wires into the unit from the base. quite a pain in the rear compared to the other unit. would not get this one again.
