PURRfect Cat Toys Pouncer Toy

Both of my cats adore this toy, and will play with it for hours on end. They jump for it, chase it, carry it away in their mouths... and it is very well made. I appreciate that the cord is leather - they enjoy chewing on it, and I know they're not going to chew through it like an elastic string. Also, I appreciate the natural feathers. There are LOTS of feathers on the end, far more than the other toys that just give three or so feathers, and both cats love getting their mouths on this. Finally, there's nothing hard or sharp, so we can play with it fairly wildly and I know that if they accidentally get hit in the face with it, it won't hurt them. Highly, highly recommended as a high-quality toy of good value.

When buying toys for my cats, it's important to me that they're made in the US. Ever since that melamine contamination issue, as well as countless occurrences of heavy metals showing up in toys, I figured that I just wouldn't buy anything that's likely to go in a mouth that wasn't made in the US. So, about this toy:The teaser itself is sizeable, actually a bit larger than I thought it would be. It's about the size of a small bird. The stick is strong, and the string itself is leather. Good harmless components. All three of my cats love it, and I've gotten regular use of it for two months with no signs of wear on it, so it's pretty tough.So it was a good find, and like I said it's made in the USA.

This toys's feather quality is definitely the best, the amount is super large, and its pretty sturdy. My cat is crazy when shes playing, but she never destroy this toy. I really like her to play this, cause ut looks like she is hunting in real!

It was fun for my cats and kept them entertained. I play with them two or three times a day with it, and they love chasing it and jumping up in the air to get it.

This toy is very well made, including having a rawhide cord, and stands up well to energetic cat play. Our formerly feral, now indoor cat made short work of similarly styled toys, but with cotton strings, cutting the strings with his teeth within seconds of beginning to play with the toys (we tried several). Then I purchased the PURRfect CatToys "Pouncer Toy" and we have been playing with him, using this toy, which he loves, at least twice a day for the past 11 months, and the toy is still holding up well. Based on our experience using this toy with our very strong, energetic cat, I definitely recommend it to anyone considering purchasing a "pouncer" style toy for their cat.

wand is a bit too short

This is another wand toy that we tried in order to appease our wand toy obsessed cat. Our cat absolutely loves the feather part of the toy and will often hug it and lick it. As a wand toy, the string is a bit short, making it more difficult to flick around easily. It seems difficult to strike the perfect balance between too long and too short with wand toys! I would definitely recommend this wand toy overall, as it is well-made and the cats do love the real feathers on the end.

Great quality, one cat is still wondering why the feather toy is so heavy and dense all of a sudden, haha! Would buy again!
