What's the difference? What's the LED model?** A: The LED is a motion sensing light, like a mini flash light on the base of the unit. If your garage is dark, it's great! Proviudes enough light to help see where you are walking, or until you can turn on the garage light. **Q: Does the laser have a 360 degree adjustement** A: no, they have very little sideways adjustment. When mounted on the ceilings, their range is from straight down to facing forward with a little moment from side-to-side. If you try to point them very much towards the side, the arms will pop out but you can push them back in. Mine was mounted 2' from the front wall on a 8' ceiling with the cars parked 3' apart and they didn't have enough sideways movement to shine the laser above the side fenders. Arrived new, in original packaging. Multi-language instructions for installation. Initial bench power-up test successful. Both lasers bright. Installation is easy. Double stick tape and three, 1 inch screws are included. Tape is not recommended for overhead installation, per the instructions. Mounted the base plate to the unit on the ceiling at the desired location, attached the laser module and plugged the power cord into the same outlet as the garage door opener. (Although I didn't measure it before installation, the cord is approx 8 - 10 feet in length.) The unit came on, displaying bright dots, even in daylight. A few other notes, from the instruction pamphlet and my experience with the product: Batteries (Three AA) are not included. They are also not required for operation. If installed, they would supply backup power in case of an electrical outage. The door opener wouldn't function either, so it seemed kind of a moot point. As noted by a previous reviewer, the rotation and swivel range of the laser heads was inadequate for my application. I trimmed out the molded plastic wells that the swivels sit in to get more adjustment. About 5 minutes with an Exact-o knife. Less the 1/8 inch of material removed. I could have moved the unit to a different location and not performed this operation, but wanted the unit overhead and plugged into the same outlet as the door opener. Units shut off automatically. Motion sensor functions, activating the unit again. Overall a nice little gadget.
