yodo Fit Over Glasses Sunglasses with Polarized Lenses for Men and Women

I have chronic migraines. Trying to drive with snow reflection and the sun shining through tree branches this winter has been excruciating. I bought the Yodo black frames with purple lenses. They are exceptionally functional. They fit perfectly over my large framed progressive glasses. They rest on top of them, which blocks sun from above, as well. They have side windows with the same tint to see traffic without moving my head all over. Great wearability and flexibility, I was able to easily flip them up on top of my head with one hand when I went inside a store without messing up my progressives. The polarized lenses make everything vibrant and clear, but at the same time they take the edge off the brightness. They were definitely not too dark, which was a fear of mine. I never had to take them off to see something. They came with a carrying bag, a cleaning cloth, and even a strap to hold them on for outdoor activities. Yes, they’re BIG, but modern and stylish. They do not look like the old style senior citizen wrap around glasses that I had been considering. So I’m super happy that I found them!!! Five stars!

Frankly, I was amazed when I received my order and started wearing these sunglasses. They are MUCH better than I expected and are superior in every way over the Cocoons I had purchased at my eye doctor's office for over $50. It was time to replace my old sunglasses and on a whim, I searched on Amazon to see if I could find something similar that would fit over my current prescription glasses, which are rather large. I was surprised that a product with a price point much lower than I paid before would have such good reviews so I thought, "at this price, why not give it a try?" The Yodo sunglasses were packaged in a very attractive black box. On opening the box there is a nice, heavy, leather-like draw-string case (heavy enough to protect them while storing in my purse) and inside were the sunglasses, along with a microfiber cloth for cleaning them. The sunglasses were attractive, and (hurrah) fit over my large, trendy prescription glasses very comfortably. I like the way they look. But more importantly, I like the way they perform. I get migraines very easily and glare or bright sunshine is an instant trigger for terrible pain for me. These sunglasses cut the glare and the sun and I can still see accurately. Previously, when I was driving on a sunny day, I had just accepted that I would have a hard time reading any LED info on my vehicle's dashboard. With the Yodo sunglasses I can see everything, inside and out of the vehicle, very comfortably. I wore these recently during a rainstorm and they cut the glare from headlights on a busy freeway while still allowing me to see the road and highway markings. It's not an exaggeration to say that they are helping me to be a better driver. Sitting outside for my son's sporting events has many times caused me to have a migraine due to the sun. These glasses provide protection that is truly helpful and I can still see the game. The value for the money here is truly incredible. Buy without any hesitation.

If you reference my review of the other brand with a similar name (Yogo) you'll see why these were rated higher, even though they cost more and one gets just one pair rather than two pairs. These are more sturdy, although still lightweight (a plus in this case) and seem to shade my eyes a bit better at the top of the frame. The lenses have a scratch-resistant coating. The sunglasses come in a more attractive and more sturdy box than the other brand, which is a plus when gift-giving or storing, and the company includes accessory items. Glad that a pouch is provided (seems to be polyvinyl) with a drawstring, plus there is a lens polishing cloth and a snap-on adjustable headband. The latter has little plastic tips that snap into the small hole at each end of the ear pieces. Just press firmly. After you've tried on the sunglasses with the strap to see how the strap fits, one can take off the sunglasses and the strap can be adjusted to fit more snuggly or more loosely, as preferred. As an amusing bonus, there is a little card that shows a person fishing, and the company suggests putting on the sunglasses to see the rest of the picture. Surprise! It's a test card for the polarized lenses, and one gets to see what is being fished for. Overall, very happy with the purchase. I had bought these before in XL some years ago, and misjudged the size, so ended up giving them to my husband. Yes, they fit him, and weren't "girly" looking in the pattern/color I had purchased. This time I bought them in L for myself, and they fit well even over my biggest glasses.

I bought these dark glasses in early January to protect my eyes from bright sunlight during travel for two cataract surgeries over a 2-month period. They fit perfectly over my glasses and provide total protection covering 180 degrees of frontal sight. They have worked perfectly for my first surgery and if they last through February, they will be worth at least twice for what I paid for them. They are very sturdy and I expect them to last well past my eye issues. I'll update this review if either lens falls out before March, but I don't expect that to happen.

Great product, they fit well, I went outside with my progressive lenses and came inside. When I took them off I could still see instead of waiting for my glasses to adjust to the light. Very pleased with this product and it's appearance

Enourmous. Covers my large glasses but also my eyebrows and go past the sides of my face a bit. They are not flattering but they block out the sun from all sides and the comfort from not having that direct sunlight is worth the aesthetic deficiency to me since I only use them for driving. The polarizing works very well. Biggest drawback to me is how easily the lenses scratch. The ends of the ear pieces scratch the lens when it's folded up terribly so even being careful with how you store them doesn't matter much. These will get scratched up pretty quick. I dropped them on the sidewalk once and a lens popped out but I was able to get it back in within a few minutes of working at it.

Item arrived quickly and was as described. The glasses fit over my regular glasses, which was important. Very satisfied.

I ordered the larger size. When I put it on, the size is pretty overwhelming, but it worked out just fine for my purpose - to provide shade from the sun when I drive. So it worked out beautifully.
