I've used advantage II for years and get it from Amazon at a much better price that from the vets. But it seems to not be doing a good a job that it has in the past. I just got a new box of 6 and will see. I don't know what I will get to replace it if it has stopped working, so will keep my fingers crossed that maybe I just got a weak batch. There is no expiration date on any of the boxes, just a code, and the manufacturer won't give you the date in normal month/year format because they are not required to by law. Also, the box I just received today was opened, and the side fold at the top was ripped (not by me) but of course, the individual tubes are sealed up in mylar so I don't worry they have been tampered with, but that it was unusual. All in all a good product, but I am watching it!

I have never had a problem getting rid of fleas with Advantage

I know there are A-LOT of bad reviews for these but my belief is that people are using the product wrong, possibly issuing wrong doses or ordering the wrong product size. Bayer is a local, well known, trusted company in my area and I can tell you that they do not manufacture products that would kill your animals or harm them. This is a local, USA company. I have had family members that have worked for them their entire lives. Now on to the product. It works very well. We were using Frontline but it did not work. AT ALL. Our dog was getting ticks, our cats and dog had fleas. We used Frontline religiously and it just didn't perform. We ended up with a really bad flea infestation in our home and we needed to take action as multiple flea baths and house treatment were not helping. We finally switched to advantage II. Weary about the reviews we applied it to our animals in the proper dosage, size, and areas. Read, read and re-read the instructions. There are specific ways to apply this for specific animals. There are also specific sizes that you purchase depending on the type and weight of your animal. YOU NEED TO READ! Within two weeks after we treated our house with products known as permethrin and I.G. regulators as well as using Bayer Advantage II we completely got rid of our flea problem. Its now been months since we have had the problem and we haven't found a single flea on our animals. This stuff just hands down works. I would recommend to anybody and I'm going to keep purchasing it because I never want to have fleas in my home again. Its well worth the price. UPDATE: Its now been 5 years since my original review and we still use this. We have not had a single flea issue since my original review. Our animals are safe and healthy. Be aware that there are counterfeits on Amazon. There are articles on the internet of what to check for. If you are concerned, purchase it from your vet or Chewy.

I've been using this product since the spring and I haven't seen one flea on either of my dogs. I will absolutely buy this brand every year!!🙂🙂

Top noch, after just 1 day my precious baby started to get some sleep instead of itching and biting. Second day itching almost done with.
