works great! i bought this one to be able to charge my 18v and my 36v batteries. this does it with no issues. and fast. i really like the LED indicator is much easier to understand than the standard charger i was using. and it beeps when done. so far i love this charger.

As I switched all my new tool purchases to Metabo, I needed another charger as I purchased most of the tools as bare tools. Charger worked out well.

POS - total failure with only light use. Don't even think about it. I'm pissed after investing in several dual voltage tools and batteries.

This charger is baffling to me. I had another one just like it that I got at an auction, but eventually it stopped charging. Wouldn't power up, no lights, nothing... So I bought this to replace it. It worked great for a couple months, and then the same issue arose. I was frustrated and had them both sitting in a corner (because I refuse to throw broken stuff away) and one day decided to just throw a couple batteries on them and double check that they still don't work. Lo and behold they BOTH came back to life! Since then I've done some testing and learned that if they're kept plugged in all the time they seem to 'burn out' or something, and go dark. But if they only get plugged in when a battery is being charged, they work like they're supposed to. I still don't know why exactly they do this, but at least I'm able to charge the batteries quickly and completely. Also, I can't leave a battery on them for more than a day or two without them shutting down? Still don't understand why, but that's been my experience. I love how fast they charge when they're working, but I wish I didn't have to worry about whether they're plugged in or not.

I bought this Metabo HPT battery charger to use to pump up my two Metabo HPT multi volt batteries 18v 8.0ah/36v 4.0ah and it works absolutely fantastic!!! It charges those two huge Metabo HPT batteries in like 52 minutes per battery!! I love the fact that it has a built in cooling fan system that keeps the battery and charger cool from over heating and I absolutely love the fact that it’s got an alarm indicator that tells you when the charging is complete!!! I strongly recommend it to anyone who is a Metabo HPT fan!!!

llego antes de lo esperado y en perfectas condiciones, carga las baterias tanto de 18v como las de 36v rapidisimo y sin problemas, altamente recomendable.

Works well. Wish it would turn off the red light when it's finished, but that's a minor detail.
