I installed it about 3 months ago, and have had no problems with it. Working as it’s supposed to. I actually do recommend purchasing this if needed. Don’t waste a lot of money on buying a OEM secondary air pump.

It looks exactly like the OEM product but looks are deceiving. The hoses on my MK4 GTI did not lock onto the connection points on the pump and neither did the electrical connection. Since a good connection at all these points is critical I had to modify them by hand with a utility knife and Dremel grinder to get them to fit. After installation it worked but seemed to have some moderate vibration when running. Time will tell as to durability.

The first pump that was sent to me was a little defective, one of the outlets didn't hold the hose, so i returned and got a replacement, after installed the problem did not go away so i started to look for other causes to finally realized that the electric connector wasn't going all the way in because that pump was defective as well
