Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 10.5" (T860) Book Cover - EF-BT860PJEGUJ, Mountain Grey

Bought used like new at good price. Its quality is way better than other brands. The magnets on this case stick firmly to the tablet unlike my previous case from which my tablet kept falling off. Because it's a magnetic case, putting on the case couldn't be simpler and it fits perfectly. The case is well constructed and provides ample protection to an expensive tablet. The Galaxy S6 is a thin tablet. Adding this case increases the thickerness, but holding it still feels light and comfortably.

I wanted to try a few of the cheaper cases before ponying up big bucks for this one as it is 4-5 times more expensive than the generic options. Now I understand that there is good reason for that. The quality of the case is top-notch, the feel is very different from the cheap plastic-feel of the others I've tried. There is a pocket for the stylus at the back which hides the whole stylus under the case. That part is magnetically sealed, so you can just take the stylus out from the small pocket without taking the whole case off the tablet. The magnet works perfectly, and the case sticks to the tablet seamlessly. Most of the generic cases cover the edges of the tablet which makes using the buttons that are close to the edges of the screen very hard. However, as this one doesn't cover the front of the screen at all, you are able to use all the front screen seamlessly. All in all, it's a definite 5-star!

I've had a couple other Android tablets that eventually ended up in a drawer not being used. This one, though, is the best Android tablet I've ever had. I have an iPad, but it's my husband's old one that I only use for Cricut Snap Mat. I am fully in the Samsung Galaxy eco system with a Galaxy phone, watch, and earbuds. This tablet is just a good fit for me. I use it every day. The call and text continuity feature is really nice. I put my phone on the charger in the bedroom or office, but I still get my phone calls and texts on my tablet in the living room. This is the most I've ever used a tablet. Now that Samsung is supporting it's devices for three generations, I'm sure I can get a lot more time out of it before I feel it's outdated. And if aesthetics matter to you, this cloud blue one I got is so pretty, super thin. I got a matching book cover case for it, which is also very useful.

Samsung is new to me as a tablet. I ordered this cover as soon as I knew what I would need. It is held on magnetically down the left side. It turns on the Tablet when opened. It folds into 2 wide segments and a narrow one. This gives options as to holding it folded back, or standing up portrait mode, or lay it down in landscape mode for typing or surfing etc. It is similar to Apple's Smart Cover, I don't think it works as well but not enough to throw in with that Apple crowd. :-) I've had no problems with the cover falling out of this cover. I suppose if you carried it by it, or folded it too far back there could be a problem. The Tab S6 has a very narrow bezel around the screen, there is not much room to hold it, this will help. Storing and charging the pencil in the cover's flip back tab on the cover is a nice touch, though it's cumbersome. The Pen has to go into the slot a specific way, point down, the pencil has a charging "spot" only on one side and that has to meet-up with the tablet at a specific spot. It's possible to flip the pencil on its other side and the pencil "spot" not meet up with the "spot" on the tablet. It is still great to have the pencil stored and charged without anything external, or hanging out the end of the tablet like Apple's recent pencil attempts. A great cover that you will need.

It's a little on the pricey side but I think that's to be expected with an OEM accessory. The magnets work great and the cover looks good on the tablet very sleek and stylish. One thing to keep I mind this is only a cover not a case. Gives the tablet a finished look and should protect it from scratches if you need to slide it into a back but offers very little if any protection from drops or spills or any other unfortunate accidents that may happen. It looks and feels good but that's really all it does. For me that's all I need I think it's great.

I would definitely recommend this case if you have the Galaxy Tab S6 and aren't looking for a keyboard cover. I had a keyboard cover on my last tablet and I felt it added too much bulk and the keyboard was rarely useful for the way I use the tablet. I prefer to handwrite my notes and then convert them to text. The cover feels great. I like the material and it is very durable and so far has been easy to clean. It keeps my tablet safe and holds the pen secure while still allowing it to charge and easy access for use. I have tried a few third party cases for my tablets and I'm usually dissatisfied with the feel of the material or sharp edges at the seams but this case feels great all around.

I found one through Amazon warehouse for 35% off but after having it I'd have paid full price. It's not going to protect your S6 from fall damage but that's not why you'd want this thin of a cover. It protects the screen and body while in a bag and the cover works well holding it upright. I wasn't worried about protection. I take care of my electronics and merely wanted something to protect the glass protector while in a bag but not add a lot of weight or be a pain if I just wanted to hold the tablet. The magnets hold the case in place with no hassle. When you close the cover it turns off and when opened it turns on. The S-pen cover works great too. I've never onced worried about the pen falling out.

Performs incredibly well and the battery is amazing. I use the S Pen to take notes in OneNote for work (also amazing), so it's on all day (8-10 hours) and I only use 60-70% of the battery. And the standby time is incredible. It can sit all day and night and still have over 95% battery. If you like to take notes by hand, I highly recommend using OneNote. Use the O365 version so you never need to worry about losing notes. The S Pen has an amazing feel with great accuracy. I really enjoy writing with it. I thought the bump where the Pen is stored in the case would be awkward, but it's a great handle and allows the tablet to be flat when you fold the cover underneath (Samsung case not included, but definitely needed, so get it).
