Great retro bra
This bra runs true to size in both cup and band/bodice, i wish it came in more cup sizes, as i would head straight for the DDD. I think the impression of many reviewers , me included that it runs small in the cups and large in the band is because of the materials used. The materials in the cups are not very stretchy and the lining also does not stretch, this is necessary in order to to achieve the bust support and shaping this bra gives. The band/ bodice of the bra is made of a very stretchy power net, so it does indeed feel “big”. It does feel less supportive than some other long line bras, but it is strong enough to smooth the “ squishies” on the back and rib cage. As to the” pointy “ shape; this style of bra was mostly worn with a slip over it or a dress that had a close fitting bodice which alleviates some of that extreme torpedo look. It is not a modern bra, with a rounded contour to the breasts but that is why many people like it.Now to you dear Rago : Please, please consider expanding the range of your cup sizes ( DDD, E,F......) you can do it!And about those wobbly boning materials you have been using in the past decade, they warm with body heat, become softer , give up, bend sharply and then poke us, where we are soft! Not nice.

Wow! Quality, comfort, and makes everything look great!
This is a quality item and the most comfortable bra I have ever worn.It makes anything one wears look fantastic. Critical information for the review (many poor reviews may be linked to body shape):5'9", 160 lbs, hourglass shape, size 6-8 US dress size. Measured and used the Rago sizing guidance. I am at the cusp of the c & d cup, ordered a 36c (standard bra size). This fit is lovely and the bra is worn on the loosest hook setting. Purchased a 36d, also a lovely fit using the smallest hook setting but perfer the extra cup space over the C (either works for me). At my height it does extend to my natural waist. I have since purchased 3 more from Rago plus some other goodies. Beyond happy and a permanent Rago customer now, and love that these are Made in the USA!

Such a huge disappointment.
I was extremely disappointed with this bra. I had had such high expectations, because of the great reviews left by so many other vintage-lovers; I regularly dress in the vintage style and so was looking forward to completing my complement of retro-reproduction undergarments. I've owned several Rago undergarments over the years, and have been happy with all of them, but not so with this one.I already knew about the lack of underwire, but I did not expect so awkward of a fit. Instead of the band being extra-supportive with the absence of the wires, the cups were instead ultra-restrictive and strapped my breasts down very flat. The cup was also not wide enough for my breasts, and the seams cut into them in strange places. I am normally a 34DD, and so ordered accordingly, having heard that the bra cups run large, but instead, it felt like I was trying to force my breasts into B cups, and looked like that, too. I will be returning ASAP.

Too Small, But Yet Too Big
I have had this bra all of 45 minutes and so far I love it. I am a bit disappointed in the fit, though. I normally wear a US 34 E or sometimes a US 36 DDD. I bought this one in a 36 DD, partly because of the sizes available and partly because of reviews. The problem for me is that the 36 band in this bra is slightly too large and the DD cups are quite a bit too small. My immediate thought upon trying it on , was to exchange it for a 34 DD. But I was afraid by going down a band size, the cup size might also go down. So I think I will keep this size . I have had it on about 45 minutes and it is very comfortable. It isn't itchy or scratchy at all. I like that the straps are close set, because I normally have trouble with the straps slipping off of my shoulders. I like that it doesn't have underwire, but I am not convinced yet that it offers a lot of support. It wasn't hard at all to put on as others have reported, but this might be in part that the 36 is a little loose on me. I have not yet tried it on with my vintage and pin up dresses, but I think it will give a smooth look under all of them. The bottom band is nice and wide and doesn't roll even when sitting. I am 5'4" and weigh 180. The bottom band comes right to my belly button. I can pull on it a little and it will sit a little lower. The stays in the sides are very flexible and not uncomfortable in the least. The straps are not elastic. It took a few tries to get them adjusted to my liking, but they are now comfy. I don't feel it gives a bullet shape as some have reported. In fact I find that the seams in the cups actually flatten me a bit. That also might have to do with sizing. This bra appears to be well made. I think with proper care, it should be long lasting. I will update on that after I have had it for a while. If I do order this style again, which I probably will, I think I will try the 34.

Gorgeous pieces, wrong for my body type - did not meet expectations despite fitting well.
I didn’t understand the hype with this brand. I bought several different pieces of shapewear from the line based on customer reviews, and despite fitting as expected the shaping components just do not cut it for me personally. This piece in particular fit my breasts well, but the shaping aspect of the longline piece wasn’t there for me. I tried it with their high shaping panty - the style of it is gorgeous but overall I have had much better experience as far as shaping is concerned with other styles from different brands. This might just all be personal preference and based on my body type, but the shapewear all fit (I bought based on measurements and recommendations from reviews) and I didn’t feel like it did anything meaningfully for me as far as what I’ve come to expect from shapewear overall. I’m glad it works so well for some women, and visually the pieces are gorgeous (perfect for a boudoir shoot) but, since it didn’t give me what I wanted I returned everything except the underwear - which I still occasionally wear but only with additional pieces from other brands (very infrequently, because the leg holes fall in a weird spot on me and cause digging if I’m sitting for extended periods of time). Long story short - this brand is not for me. Which is a bummer, because the pieces in their own look beautiful.
