Just put the battery into the phone and place the phone in the phone charger for 20 hours. That will charge the battery.

Are these batteries fully charged or do I need to charge them before use?

As with all batteries. You should fully charge them before use. Especially Nickel cadmium's.

The text is meant to be read as "must be disposed of properly". The year that appears on the battery is actually the year of production, not the expiration date.

is there a oem battery with better amh than this 300 amh batt, for the Uniden 6.0 Dect 2180 (-2)? How old are these?
