Needed weed killer safe for my whole world, my dog
Woah. Wasn’t expecting the death this inflicts upon a variety of weeds, in such short time. I mixed a full bottle of this vinegar with a cup of table salt, and a few tablespoons of Dawn soap, in an old empty RoundUp bottle, because I like the battery sprayer vs pumping. I used a whole bottle on a dirt flower bed full of weeds 4ft x 9 ft. By the time i got through half of the bed, the half I did was already browning and wilting. It gave me incredible motivation to attack every weed in my path and then ooh and ahh over the weed free property. THE ONLY CON TO THIS STUFF is its vinegar. It STINKS and it stinks for days, spray with the wind and low to the ground to avoid it spraying to healthy grass etc and avoid the burn to the nostrils. Also, used alone this works, did it on our annual flowers bed, but used with the salt and dawn, holy cow, incredible product, I’ll always add the salt and soap. Low percent/grocery vinegar just does not do the trick like this high powered vinegar. And you get 2 bottles for the cost of one bottle of poisonous weed killer.

Good Product, but Read the Precautions
This is not your pantry version of white vinegar. It is about 100 times stronger, so read all precautions and utilize care when using this product. That being said, I did purchase it to use as a weed spray for stubborn nut grass in my back yard. I purchased a pump sprayer, diluted it by half, added salt and dish soap. As stated by others, it did its job within 24 hours. Now, I did have to reapply in some areas, but I am not sure if I did not see those weeds, if I did not dose them well, or if I ran out of my prepared solution by that point. It didn't matter. It is a good product that works and that you can also feel good about using. It takes a little more effort to mix, but not a lot and my dog and the bees appreciate it.

this is exactly what is says but make sure you need 50 percent
i am used to cleaning drains, sinks, toilets with baking soda and 5 percent vinegar. i cant really remember why i went 50 percent. maybe just caveman instincts to get the powerful one?The product comes sealed in a plastic bag. It also has a plastic cap, not foil, when you open the lid - this stuff is no joke. The first time i used it, with my usual amount of baking soda, it foamed like normal. So far so good. well, if you picture a pile of baking soda, the vinegar can only interact with the surface of the pile. When i flushed, and the powder was fully exposed, kabloom! i flooded my bathroom haha! it was comically funny.I will be going back to 5 percent concentration but if you need 50 percent, this is 5 star packaging, 5 star safety, 5 star product.

Powerful weed killer, including poison ivy.
I'm using it as a poison ivy and weed killer. And I have not been disappointed. It's very powerful. lookout for the fumes and don't get it on your skin. my skin is still peeling off of both of my hands a week later from getting it on my skin. Wear good glasses and don't spray it when it's windy out as I did. It's killing the poison ivy and just about everything else I sprayed it on. so be careful if you don't want it to kill certain plants. Didn't use it as a cleaner but I would still use all the safety precautions I laid out.

Be careful
Ordered this vinegar to use my garden on my weeds and grasses that I didn't want there.Just the word of caution this stuff is STRONG!! I would advise you not to open the box in the house. Although each gallon was in a sealed plastic bag both bottles leaked despite what the label said was updated product seal. One of the Caps barely threaded on.Poured a gallon in my pump sprayer at about a 15% dilution with water added a couple tablespoons of table salt shook it well and sprayed at noon.By 2:30 everything I had sprayed was wilted and browned out. I WAS AMAZED. After trying store-bought vinegar which was 5% if you times and having absolutely zero results this stuff works incredibly well.Only thing I would say is to use caution because it will actually burn your nostrils. They recommend using gloves and goggles and I follow with that. Had I not and gotten this on my skin or in my eyes I'm sure there would have been some pretty dire results.Nice to have another gallon in reserve for later in the season.

Strong and effective
Purchased this specifically to be used in the killing of my weeds on my patio as well as in my rock garden. This worked very well and it is strong in both smell and acidity. I ended up diluting this to be closer to 25% strength. The container was well made and safe. I was able to easily remove the safety cap and mix into my garden sprayer. The acidity of the vinegar is not to be taken lightly. Recommended to be mixed with salt and dish soap for the killing of weeds in an organic method.

Great weed killer! VERY strong vinegar be careful!
Use this for killing weeds. I use 1 cup of salt, 1 tablespoon of dish soap, 1 gallon vinegar. Kills weeds right away lasts for abut 3 months. I live in NJ I spray twice for late spring, summer, early fall. Like it better then traditional weed killer. Be very careful with this vinegar!!! It is VERY STRONG!!! You can not spray without the proper protction! Make sure you have a good mask, eye protection, and strong rubber gloves. You will burn your skin without the proper gloves.

great on weeds
I bought this to use it on my weeds since I don't want to use deadly chemicals that could harm animals. I mixed it with water, salt and a little dish detergent and it worked great. Within a couple of hours, the weeds were dead especially if they were in full sun, shady areas took a little longer. Caution: it will kill everything that gets in contact with this, do not use it on weeds that are in the grass or near greens that you don't want harmed. I just used it in between patio blocks and sidewalks.
