should fit very very snugly into filter but watch out if they loosen up over time
I have had two New Comfort 3000BL for about a year, and after washing the HEPA filters repeatedly they were actually falling apart. The seller recommended replacing them about yearly anyway, so I purchased two new ones. What I noticed most was a difference in fit - the new ones fit so snugly I had to work to get them in, so I think my old ones were letting a lot of particles around the edges and I hadn't noticed the loose fit. I am glad I followed the advice to replace them and would highly recommend anyone in my position to do so as well.
