The Bible of the Adversary 10th Anniversary Edition: Adversarial Flame Edition

This book is an amazing piece of work! In depth, extensive information. Not sure why these bad reviews are saying it’s not comprehensible, my guess is their soul isn’t ready for the information yet. I understood everything in this book and have ordered three more from Ford since. This book covers the base of all luciferian topics and a great starting point, (for beginners or those seasoned on the path) and his other books are more topic specific which is great. Yes, there’s some editing errors but nothing that makes it so you can’t understand the sentence. This is a complete work. Excellent! Added pics of the table of contents since it’s not listed. I praise Ford for such thorough work!

Looking past and editing errors, ive connected with this book on another level. It starts off with great info and explanation. Im not for some of the wording, so keep an open mind and interpret some stuff in your own way. If you look past some if the flaws of the author i think, so far, its a great book that may resonate with many. I am an eclectic pagan spiritualist, psychic intuitive, magick/witchcraft practitioner and occultist. I have been on this path for 22years now. I find the Luciferian ideology fascinating and it reonates with me on a soul level. I am a polytheist but worship none. I find the different gods/goddesses/pantheon/deities make great tools for self illumination.

I don't always agree with Michael Ford, one of the things that bothers me is he does not believe in Lucifer as a literal being, but then again traditional orthodox Luciferians are hard to come by these days. This is one of his better books. It does not try hard to shock you with blood rituals and seemingly cruel animal rites, like the toad ritual in his Luciferian Witchcraft book. It is a book that features beginer rituals, but most of it is his philosophy on Luciferianism. I said his philosophy meaning not all Luciferians share his view. It has the holidays, demons and fallen angels you can work with. Over all It is a good book to start with as oposed to his other works. It is a refreshing aproach to The Satanic Bible by Anton LaVey and a good edition to any Occult library.

the beginning was pretty difficult to understand but towards the middle was pretty good. I wanted to expand my knowledge on Satanism and this book is recommended to start from. I am halfway through and I like it. it explains some exercises and the different "satans" from different religions. this book is really informative hence the rating. so not that bad.

Excellently written. I love everything about this book. It goes over many questions you might have, delves into the darker aspects of Luciferianism, acts as a guide into Black Magick, all while going over the philosophical aspects of everything. I'm having a hard time putting it down.

This is a great book and will help all who wish to read on the crooked path. Once again another work by Michael W. Ford

Elegant cornerstone edition

A definite must have for anyone into the left hand path to say the least. It’s definitely a daily reader for me.

Tampoc és una bona introducció al sender de la mà esquerra. - Tractant-se d’una edició especial pel 10 aniversari, resulten especialment sorprenents tot els errors presents. Així, sembla que el que s’indica com a millores d’aquesta edició són pura estètica però la majoria d’imatges tenen una qualitat baixa. - Inclús al fer referència als seus altres llibres (una addició de la nova edició), ho fa de forma confusa, una oportunitat perduda per a oferir noves vies de coneixement al lector. Problemes - L’edició no està a l’alçada dels diners pagats tant pels errors com fins i tot per la qualitat del paper. - Hi ha errors d’impressió, gramaticals i sintàctics. - Falta una estructura lògica en el llibre i inclús en els paràgrafs, a voltes sembla una simple unió de textos independents i dispersos. - Falten referències clares o peus de pàgina, de manera que és difícil saber què aporta l’autor de nou o quin és l’origen de les seues afirmacions. - Excessius textos poètics que interrompen la lectura i no són d’una gran bellesa estètica. Aquest espai és una oportunitat perduda per a inspirar rituals a través de la poesia. - No es posiciona clarament en el debat sobre satanisme teista i ateista, un aspecte polèmic d’aquestes creences i sobre el qual s’esperaria un posicionament, encara que for una tercera opció. - Els 11 principis del luciferianisme són massa abstractes, poc aplicables per a constituir una filosofia de vida a llarg termini. - Mescla massa tradicions sense un ordre, un sentit o una clara relació. - Tracta massa temes i de forma superficial. Rescatable - Permet conèixer el pensament del cofundador de la desapareguda Greater Church of Lucifer. - És un dels primers texts publicats de l’autor i és possible que haja millorat el seu estil i contingut posteriorment.

Dieses Buch ist eines seiner größten Werke, die ich je gelesen habe! Es lässt sich hervorragend damit magisch arbeiten! Die Sprache ist leicht verständlich, obwohl es in Englisch ist! Ich arbeite schon länger mit diesem Buch und kann es nur weiterempfehlen!

An excellent introduction to Luciferianism. There is a fair bit of information to absorb, but a great read from front to back. I'm definitely going to source a physical copy for future reference.

Good book. Has some good philosophy though I found there to be numerous spelling and grammar errors which made it seem amateurish. Book is deep and gives a good basis again although I found many values to be slightly altered copies of Anton Lavey's Satanic Bible's 9 Satanic Statements and 11 rules of the earth. Still worth a read for the Satanist.
