I’m not particularly impressed, as it takes so long to toast bread, that it dries it out too much. We have an old Dualit one which doesn’t look great, but I think I’ll buy a new one of those now, as it works a lot better, and you can lift the toast up to check if it’s done, which you can’t on this one. However I am very pleased with the toaster which has kept us in endless perfectly browned toast throughout the pandemic! **Q: Does it toast properly? As a lot of toasters don’t** A: Hi, We never got to use the toaster as we sent it back due to the colour not matching the colour on Amazon. We had picked the Touquoise colour. If you send it back it has to go back to the manufacturer, not Amazon, which meant paying recorded delivery at the Post office, as Amazon don't collect it. It cost us £16.00 to return, so we had no toaster, and we were £16 down. **Q: Does the toaster have a bagel setting?** A: I do use it to toast bagels but no special setting. **Q: Does standard Warburtons Bread fit easily into the slots and can you use both sides independently of each other?** A: Mrs. ECCLES I am pretty sure the toaster would be adequate for the job.I have split rolls in half and toasted those ,and yes you can use both sides independently. Well packaged with instructions and a chance to extend the one year warranty. Looks old fashioned but it has the crumb tray at the back. The black buttons large enough to be seen and used Lights blue when in use has a defrost and heat up function. Bit pricey but didn't mind as looks fab in the kitchen. Good weight, sturdy and well made.
