With the price of RAM going up across the board, I got these at the right time to upgrade this laptop. Amazing what doubling the size of memory does for you in Linus. My computer improved instantly. SSD's are great and all, but Ram is the true JEDI weapon for immediate improvement that lasts. It was good quality memory and I have no reason to doubt that it still is. The price is still good considering the market for the newer stuff right now. If you have a laptop or micro PC, I would recommend upgrading now if you are looking to do that. The install went flawlessly and with ZERO complications.

Works great. Gave my old tuning laptop new life!!!!!! The speed was increased 4x ! And of course a since the laptop is old, so was super easy to install!

4.5 stars, the only downside is every which way I check the PC is seeing it as a lower speed than advertised. Possibly a limitation of the PC showing 1333mhz instead of 1600? Ram works great to extend the life of my OLD Panasonic ToughBook CF-C2. Works so much better now than it did with the original 4 Gig of ram. With this ram and a solid state drive it is running faster and smoother with Win11 than I can remember ever... It originally cam with Win7... I can no reliably run programs that would cause it to crash or freeze up before.

TOTAL BARGAIN ! 2X8=16G I put them in and only 1 was recognized. I swapped them and 16 was then recognized. I've seen that before. Could be various reasons none being the RAM'S fault. I ran CPU-Z to identify the DRAM and it says the DRAM chips were made by Samsung. That's a very good thing. Reminds me of the days of overclocking AMD Mobile CPU'S. Samsung was king. You could lower the latency to 2-2-2-5. I digress. I then ran the Win11 RAM test and these (2X8=16G RAM) work perfectly. I already knew that but checked anyway. --- I have a 12 y/o Dell 6430U. My more recent laptop died because the useless USB C ports stopped working after 1 year and 1 week. Don't buy a PC that uses USB C as a charging port. My wife never unplugged hers and her laptop ports quit after 2 years. We bought the ports but can't get the old ones off. Like trying to get off dedicated RAM or a BIOS. Not happening. The other thing, is one of the ports was not supposed to be used for charging. Just for whatever took USB C. Rather stupid to put them side by side. Incredible, what a poor choice they are for uniformity. Barrel connectors work great. -- 8Gs worked fine with win 10 (win 7, way better) but Win 11 seems to be a memory hog. So I did the upgrade. This now feels like Win7 on 8G's which is fine by me. Did the TPM2 bypass and bingo, not buying a new laptop or switching to Linux. Received it with 10 hours of ordering it. THANK YOU! A perfect choice for upgrading my 2016 ThinkPad. The memory chip model matches the original module perfectly, and it worked on the first try. The chip batches are mixed, and some markings are already faded, but this doesn’t affect performance. Overall, the price is absolutely worth it.

A good and unexpensive way to upgrade an old (very) laptop. I went up to the max (16) and did not even have to go into the bios. It booted up quickly without an itch and was immediately recognized by the sys. I recommend this ram upgrade especially that the cost is low due to the age. The web mention the availability for an M.2 SSD but after I opened up the laptop there was no way to install one. Maybe mine is way too old or this particular model does not have the option. Inspiron 15-3521 (2017 I believe). In any case still good for my needs. (I don't play games).

Installed it a few weeks ago and it is working perfectly. Price was good. Nicely packaged. Not much else to say. I fully expect it to outlive the usefulness of my ancient laptop.
