Bourjois Radiance Reveal Healthy Mix Foundation Dark Bronze

I would call this my favorite Drug Store Foundation of All Time but that would be an understatement. It's one of a handful of drug store foundations that I've even found wearable (I hate most of them). It might even be favorite foundation of all time. I like a light natural finish, but I want something that does even out a bit of skin tone issue AND stay on all day without breaking down or going funky in any way. This checks all those boxes. It also doesn't emphasize pores. My skin is light but warmer and I find it's hard to find something that doesn't look either too pink or too dark or weirdly gray on my skin. This is a lovely warm but not overly warm tone. If comparing this to the serum healthy mix foundation, this is about a half shade darker than the Vanilla in that range. Also, this provides slightly more coverage, but the serum is a lighter feeling more hydrating formula. I prefer this one of the two mainly bc it is a better color match for me (though I do intend to try the Serum in shade 53 to compare). Sometimes I mix the two to gain a little of the hydrating aspect of the Serum one without sacrificing the color match. They are very close in color, but this "Regular" version is darker. Both come in pump bottles, so it's simple to control the same amount of product daily. This does not oxidize and grow dark on my skin. I feel the finish only grows more natural through the day. Sometimes I think it's the TINIEST bit dark when I put it on, and then...a few minutes later, it looks perfect. And it's STILL THERE at the end of the day. Doesn't budge. Pump bottle, light fruity non chemical smell. I hate so many foundations. I hate the very look of them. And I love this one. (But if you like a super full coverage very made up look, you may not like this. Likewise if your skin is very cool toned, you might not like the color match.)

After reading about this product I was excited to receive and try it out. I can't tell you how disappointed I was. It's as thin as water, providing no coverage at all and didn't help with dry skin. Left it on my face for about 4 hours and as time went by it only got worse. May work if you are under 25 and have no discoloration or age spots. Definitely not for older persons with dry skin. No coverage at all.

I had heard amazing things about the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation, and decided to give it a try for myself. Firstly, it arrived much quicker than the anticipated window had suggested, so that's always nice. Next the packaging is nice, not flimsy, and looks a little different, which I can appreciate. The thing I like most about the packaging is the pump style lid. Makes application on the go SO much easier. Once I applied the foundation to my face, it was a perfect match, smelled great (a little fruity, but not overpowering), and felt light on my face, while also offering good coverage. I think it is very buildable, and is also very long wearing. It's a perfect summer foundation, in my opinion. I would definitely buy this product again.

Was excited for this foundation since I have VERY pale skin. The foundation itself is great, feels nice on the skin and smells wonderful. But, way too dark. As is every other foundation out there...at least for me. :(

I've heard a lot of good things about this product, and I'm not disappointed! I really like the consistency and the smell is pretty nice too. It goes on fairly easily, but I suggest that you moisturize well before putting it on, or it can have a cakey-effect. It has decent coverage, and you can build it up for sure. It has more of a matte look, or at least for me it does. It blends in nicely as well. As for the color, I had to take a guess since they don't sell this product where I'm from. The color is a little bit lighter than I expected, so I put on some darker powder over it. And since it's winter here, it's not too big of a problem. I'll have to try the darker shade next time.

I loved this foundation, but like all the others, it made me develop acne. I now know I have to use Estee Lauder foundations and powders. Everything else I try makes me break out. So if you don't have that problem, you may love this. It is super smooth and easy to apply and has a pleasant scent. It does not last all day and I found I had to re-apply a little bit later in the day. Again, this is a personal thing and you may find this isn't the case for you.

I lived in the UK and became absolutely hooked on Bourjois Repulpant Collagen Boosting foundation. The formula was so light so I felt like I was wearing nothing but it gave me the light coverage I needed. Once I moved back to the US, I discovered that this product is not sold in the US and has actually been discontinued. So I chose the Radiance Reveal foundation, hoping it would be close to the Repulpant I was using. While it is not exactly the same, it is pretty close: very lightweight, goes on easily and gives me the light coverage I need. I have very fair skin and bought No. 51 Vanille Clair and it is a perfect match for my skin tone. I tend to break out with certain foundations but with this one, so far, absolutely no breakouts. Also, I am 49 and even though I do not have many wrinkles (good genetics), in regards to the few that I do have, this foundation does not settle in and make them look worse; in fact, it helps to erase them.

Was delivered on time & is a good product. As my skin is sensitive, only this suites me... So I will recommend it

I'm not a heavy makeup wearer but I do use foundation for more formal/ fancy occasions when I need to do an eyeshadow look too just to complete the look better. And it is super lightweight and feels very comfortable to wear even if you use it everyday. My skin is relatively unproblematic and clear so I don't need much coverage and this is suitable for me. Good reviews.

Die Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation nutze ich in der Farbe light Vanilla - ein sehr heller Ton, der, wie ich finde, weder gelb- noch besonders rotstichig ist. Ein Pluspunkt, da ich diese Farbvarianten oft schwierig finde. Und wie bei allen Hellhäutigen war es wirklich schwer, eine passende, gute Foundation zu finden. Positiv: (+) ist auf jeden Fall die Farbe - auch für alle anderen Hauttöne gibt es was passendes, im Sommer nehme ich z.B eine dunklere Variante und auch die passt dann perfekt :) (+) Der Pflegeeffekt ist wunderbar. Die Haut wird nicht ausgetrocknet und die Foundation setzt sich auch nicht in den Hautfalten oder Poren ab, sodass das Ergebnis langlebig schön aussieht. Die Foundation scheint der Haut auf jeden Fall etwas Feuchtigkeit zu geben :) (+) Der Auftrag der Fundation ist sehr leicht, sie ist nicht klebrig oder spachtelig, sondern wirklich zart und leicht, wodurch der Auftrag mit Make-Up-Pinseln simpel und vor allem schnell gelingt. Sie wird nicht fleckig und oxidiert nicht sehr nach - auch ein Pluspunkt! (+) Das Ergebnis kann sich sehen lassen. Sie mattiert nicht sehr, was mir gut gefällt, da, wie ich finde, sehr mattierte Gesichter einfach unnatürlich wirken. Aber auch ist der Glanz nicht stark, das Gesicht wirkt einfach frisch und natürlich und ist perfekt vorbereitet für andere Produkte, wie Highligter usw. (+) Deckkraft: ist im mittleren Bereich zu verrotten. wer starke Akne hat, der muss vielleicht mit Concealer, Abdeckstift und Co. nachhelfen oder an bestimmten Stellen mehr schichten. Für den Alltag und einen ebenmäßigen Teint ist sie super Neutral: (+/-) Die Haltbarkeit auf der Haut. Man darf keine Wunder erwarten. Einen normalen Arbeits-, Schul- oder Unitag übersteht die Foundation ganz klar. Aber wild durchfeierte Nächte oder 24 Stunden Haltbarkeit kann man nicht erwarten. Wirklich negativ möchte ich das nicht anrechnen, es aber erwähnt haben. Negativ: (-) Die Besorgung/der Einkauf: Gestaltet sich meiner Meinung nach nicht so einfach. Klar, man kann im Internet immer bestellen, aber ich würde es auch schön finden, wenn man das Produkt auch einfach im Handel erwerben könnte in Parfümerien, Drogerien vielleicht usw. Amazon ist da für mich eher nicht die Anlaufstelle. INFO: Die Foundation hat mittlerweile ein neues Design. Nicht mehr rund, sondern kantig. Es soll eine verbesserte Formulierung sein. das hört man leider nicht gern, wenn man ein Produkt liebt und es schon ewig verwendet, ABER: An der Wirkung und allem anderen hat sich NICHTS verändert <3 Trotz der neuen Formulierung ist die Foundation noch so super wie vorher und darüber bin ich sehr froh! Die Farben haben sich auch erweitert, sodass mehr Menschen angesprochen werden Fazit: Wer eine Foundation sucht, die nicht zu stark abdeckt, die die Haut mit Feuchtigkeit versorgt, nicht in Poren und Fältchen kriecht und die ein schönes, ebenmäßiges Gesicht zaubert, ohne maskenhaft zu wirken, der ist bei dieser Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation genau richtig. Die Farbauswahl ist groß und ein Fläschchen ist nach langer Zeit noch nicht aufgebraucht, wenn man es normal verwendet. Zu kaufen gibt's die Foundation in verschiedenen Online-Shops und in Frankreich, wo ich sie auch schon des Öfteren erworben habe. Online gibt es manchmal hohe Preisunterschiede - Augen Auf also :))
