Excellent piece of kit. Very easy to fit. Very sturdy, feels very good quality. Warm to the touch, ie not cold like steel would be. I highly recommend this item.

The bar is nice to the touch and looks good. I was a little surprised it didn't include the screws and wall plugs, but the holes were large enough to take the ones I normally use.

Bought and fitted two for my mother. Sturdy and non-slip grip. I liked the fact that, being dark green, they don't scream "an old, infirm person lives here" like the white ones do. No, they don't come with screws and rawlpugs, but then again, the manufacturer doesn't know what medium you are going to affix them to, and surely most folk have screws etc to hand. Somenone complained that the covers aren't flush, and are difficult to fit. I struggled a bit with the first one, then worked out that they click in and lie flush if you give them a whack.

I'm very blessed to say that my father lived until he was 96 years old! We moved him next door to us and he had a an apartment that only had two steps leading into his place of residence. But as he was getting up in years even though they were those two steps he felt that he needed something in order to just assist him going down. So to Amazon I went and found this wonderful outdoor hand grab for my father. Now I'd like to call attention this product was not really made or sold here in the United States but thank goodness for Amazon they were able to offer this product which came from Great Britain for my father. My father was so pleased by utilizing this product in order to step down to his mailbox on the side of his apartment just as a a stance just to hold on something just in case you might have felt dizzy. The price for this was awesome the practicality and functionalism was awesome as well. If anyone out there has an older parent Aunt uncle that you really love and care about and want to give them the security that they can have being independent. I would highly recommend this outdoor grab bar! Over the years it has not come weathered or even deteriorated. Highly recommended product awesome to the extreme. Again buy it now for your elderly loved ones, and for you when you are going to need something like this in the future days.

I wasn't sure whether this product would be suitable for a Canadian winter. Although it's not winter yet, after I received it and had it installed I am confident that it will work very well. The quality is very good, and I'm hoping it will withstand a deep freeze.

This is the second bar I have purchased. My first one was about 10 years ago and that one is still functioning great. Due to mobility issues I needed another bar in a different location. Both bars are used outdoor attached to brick to get up a porch step. My neighbor saw mine and liked it so well he ordered one too. The color of the first one has faded from a greenish tint to a grayish tint but it is in the direct sun. This bar is very sturdy and I get compliments from visitors stating how helpful it is to step up on my porch. My husband used anchors to attach with screws into the brick with no problems.
