Fit like a glove, Work great.
Item fit perfect. I thought purchasing a generic kit but decided to go with this genuine. easy to install. Plug seal is great while the generic one wasn't perfect seal and low quality. I did not like the mounting of the other generic plug (show the screws) Other thought was to keep the car original as i can and maintain the warranty.

Missing
The control board was missing. Thankfully the folks at Tom Scott Honda ordered one and installed it the next day. You folks did make things right however, you folks made things right! For that I would give you 5 Stars!!!

This was a perfect fit for my 2011 Honda Pilot
This was a perfect fit for my 2011 Honda Pilot. The installation was easy with the exception of removing the harness wiring harness plug on my vehicle. If you are looking to tow, and need the trailer hitch wiring harness for your 2011 pilot this is a perfect fit. This kit did not include directions, you will need to get directions online.

OEM is the way to go!
Pretty simple install. Lower the spare for easier bracket mounting. No install instructions or diagram. There are a few helpful videos online. And you need to remove the rubber mount clip from the wiring harness under the bumper to remove the protective cap.

Installation was super easy and works great
Took about 1.5 hours to install....with me and my wife taking our time of course. Installation was super easy and works great! Everything fitted perfectly on our 2011 LX.

Works great, with a little persuasion.
The install for me was not quite as easy as the 30 min. another poster stated. Everything fit and works perfectly on my 2010 Pilot. Make sure to download the install diagram listed in the question section (and below)... Very helpful! The main things to note are as follows: lower your spare tire. Much more room to maneuver. Also, the cap on the wiring plug by the spare/rear bumper/driver's side has two tabs needed to release it. Remove the entire plug from the frame with a flat screwdriver inserted into the tab of the plastic bracket that holds it to the frame. Then you can see both of them... and it's not very intuitive (thanks Honda). The fuses and relays are mostly simple if you follow the directions. The hardest part of the install for me was that all 4 nuts on the Pilot needed to be tapped out. The bolts are all 6m X 1.0 and they did not fit well until I cleaned the factory paint out of the threads. This is particularly difficult inside the rear side compartment where both nuts are slightly behind the flange (one on an angle) of the opening making space really challenging. I dropped the top bolt while trying to install (before I realize it need to be tapped out) to the abyss of the interior wheel well. To remedy it I had to use a zip tie synched tight on the top nut to keep it from rattling. Since I don't carry a lot of spare hateful metric bolts in my shop, this was the easiest fix. All functions work great for the 4 flat pin adapter I am using. I have yet to install (or need) a trailer brake harness for the 7 blade. That's a story for another day. One last thing, the directions (none in the box, so one less star) below do not show anything for the wiring harness adapter used with a trailer brake controller. So, one more reason to call it a day! [...]

Buyer Beware
I bought this kit to equip my Honda Pilot for towing, but it did not include a critical auxiliary relay box necessary to get the seven-prong connector to work. I ended up having to return this and buy an OEM kit from the Honda dealership which was not actually any more expensive than this kit.

Great Product
This trailer hitch wiring harness matched up to every bolt hole, bracket or connector on my 2011 Honda Pilot. It was not recommended for a do-it-yourselfer but I had no trouble installing the wiring harness.
