“A must to remove a steering column adapter!”
Finally got my moneys worth! Worked really nicely on my 70’s Chevy van tilt conversion. My hub adapter shaft bore was to small. Needless to say I got the hub adapter stuck on there good! It wasn’t seated down far enough. So, I had to take it off. No way could I get it off without chipping my new paint job. Looked online and found this little “GEM!” Popped right off! The tool itself is pretty heavy duty! 3/4” thick with thick washers. The screws were trash! Went grade 8. The closest points from center to center of bolts are 1 1/8” without the washers With the washers are 1 3/8” Then the widest point with the washers aid 3” Glad I waited for this tool! Larry

Much better than the homemade device that I tried to use ...
The kit did not include bolts that would work with my 1994 Chevy pickup, but luckily I had 2 bolts that would work. Once the correct size bolts were located, it did make quick work of removing the steering wheel. It worked just as it should. Less that 5 minutes to remove the steering wheel. Much better than the homemade device that I tried to use before, and wasted over an hour with.

Heavy duty puller at a good price
Worked perfectly to remove the steering wheel on a 1964 Dodge Dart and on a 1981 Datsun 280ZX. I do like how beefy the steel body bar is, I may replace the included bolts with flange head grade 8 or better bolts in the future but the included bolts and washers do work fine.

Its ok
The only issue i had with this product is that the bolts it comes with are weak and will give way and bend. Used some other higher strength bolts on the puller and product worked fine.

Work on city buses
This tool works great on pulling city bus steering wheels. I work on gilligs and it pulls the steering wheels off with no problem
