Nice to have around, doesn’t leave me under-charged to verify pressures.
Much easier to attach gages than lugging around a full manifold. Won’t change your charge level just to get a quick pressure reading. I do a lot of work on small systems that only hold a few ounces of gas so hooking up two 5 foot hoses will leave you under-charged with the lost gas in the hoses... so pretty valuable for that... prices seem to very wildly for this item -1 Star for that. Quality is on par to last many years of heavy daily professional use as you’d expect from yellow jacket...

I had an old set of yellow jacket gauges that I wasn’t using and wanted a set to use on ice machines that wouldn't cause a large loss of refrigerant, so I bought a couple of these and popped them on the old heads. They work great. I saved about $50 by repurposing the old gauges vs buying new

If you buy a ready made gauges from the brands it will cost more than 140 CAD. But if you buy manifold replacement gauges available around 5~6$ and use these quick couplers, you will have a set of test gauges just within 50$!
