We've been using these patches for 1-2 hours each day for the last 3.5 months. Our son's opthalmologist told us it may be easier to put the patch on right before he goes down for a nap so that when we wakes up he already has the patch on. This is what we did for the first 6 weeks or so, and all was well, but eventually he started messing with the patch a lot when we put him to bed. He only was able to peel the patch off one time but after that, we stopped putting it on before nap time. It was a good idea and worked for awhile though. These patches stick very very well overall. I've been really impressed at how well they stick. I completely figured my son would be ripping them off daily but that isn't the case at all. In fact, the ONLY times he's been able to pull the patch off is if we left a tiny corner not adhered to his skin because then he has a little tab to pull.
