I am an Artist , di my own painting sketching, sculpting so other than just having a project to do with Grand kids, easy to take out, work on and put away for another time when they come over, I HAD NO IDEA , I WOULD GET HOOKED, !!!! The price! A regular individual set can run anywhere from $10-$40, depending on where you get it and how big. My friends and I try to do simple, easy and cheap projects, so even $10 per person, for only one project, is a bit high for the 4 of us. I did get this set during a flash sale, so that was even better, but even at regular price, you're still getting a good deal. 2. Each painting is individually wrapped and comes with it's supplies (diamonds, tacky glue, sorting dish and pen applicator) packed inside. Just grab and go! Perfect for our Skype craft nights during COVID!Beginner Tips: Cut the bags apart carefully with scissors, and only open one bag at a time. Best way is to only cut a corner off the bag so you can pour directly onto the tray or into a container. Grab some small plastic compartment containers from the dollar store to store your diamonds as you go and label each compartment with the last few digits from the bags. This will keep your diamonds organized while working your project. Also, use an old tray as a workspace in case you spill your diamonds and look into getting a cheap light board to go underneath! I have finished many DPs and this was a big surprise. I generally do large pictures, but took a chance on these pictures. Drills were great, no garbage, poured glue was sticky, canvas was flat. This was really quick and fun and so happy with results for it being a 24x24 cm design. So sparkly!
