Can some who have had this faucet fo a while tell me how its holding up

It's held up nicely.  I purchased 2 for my master bath back in May 2020.  I'm getting ready to purchase 2 more for my hallway bath.  I purchased faucets from lowes for the hallway bathroom in 2019 before I purchased the two faucets for the master bathroom.  The faucets from lowes are very flimsy and hold water stains, which is why I decided not to buy them for the master bathroom.  I have the brushed nickel finish, no peeling, no rusting, no water stains, very satisfied.

The pop up drain comes with what parts? Cause is dripping a lot of water.

If you're talking about where you put the hoses on to the bottom of the faucet where the water comes in at then they should only be tightened hand tight and then a quarter of a turn tighter maybe half at the most and that should not stop them from leaking. This faucet came with a new hoses so if you can install them they should work fine if you're having problems then yes you do need a washer probably half inch on the top flat washer sold on Amazon and I guess a 3/8 on the bottom one for the one that hooks to the other part of the supply hose. If you can't change out the supply hoses that came with the unit easily then make sure that you don't I have conical shaped rubber washers inside the hose if you do you might could put a half inch flat washer in there and it work. Now if you're talking about the actual pop-up drain then it comes with a complete drain everything you need to replace it except for the plumbers putty as mentioned earlier in another post

Is the base of the faucet plastic or metal? Both have been reported. Which is correct?

The base (the part showing that sits on the sink) is metal. There is very little plastic in the entire product. Mine are installed now so I can't see all the interior workings, but everything visible is metal, and the plug is all metal. The drain pipe that connects the drain to my plumbing is metal. If there is any plastic, it is up inside the faucet, which doesn't show. Hope this helps!
