Miele Original GP DC WG 0252 P Descaling Powder for Miele Washing Machines and Dishwashers, 9.6 oz

We have been using these for years, to keep the inside of our washing machine from developing the unpleasant smell that develops on damp things. It has probably also prevented scale build-up on the internals. The machine is still running, after two decades.

Had various issues with ten year old Miele dishwasher. Glasses not getting cleaned. Dishes with food-spots remaining. This stuff does work, but we needed an additional Miele product for a full fix. (The dishwasher pods) I do wonder if the pods were all we needed. Maybe because washer is getting 'older' it needs the better pods. Whatever the case, it worked extremely well.

I have a Miele and like to stick to their products. This one helps maintain the machine. Our local water is not the best quality, and I think this helps.

Read a report which compared dishwasher cleaners - this was the top product. OMG, it actually worked. My dishwasher has never been so clean. We have hard water and the film left inside the dishwasher was horrible and impossible to clean. The dishwasher is 10years old and looks new. AMAZING PRODUCT.

It does take some of the deposits out as far as I can see but because you cannot see what is inside the washer it is really hard to tell just how much scale it has removed. Turned the water dark with the application so I presume it did a job. How much a job........I can't say for sure. Inside of machine does look cleaner though.

This product is great clean you washer and dishwasher no smell.

We bought an RV washer that had some hard water deposits not thinking much of it, but once I tried to clean it, it became clear the former owners hadn't taken care of it. I tried vinegar, multipurpose cleaner, and descaler, which helped but didn't get us all the way there. This Miele cleaner did the trick! I used half in each load and ran it twice, that took care of the hard water deposits and it's so much better now!

useless and expensive product... If you want to descale your dishwasher than do it with vinegar!

Buy it!!!! One of my filters was jammed solid with limescale and I couldn't move it, even though we have a water softener!! I used this and could release both filters, one was really gunged, and I then had a scrape at what was left. Decided to buy another one and now all traces of limescale are gone, thank goodness. Miele products don't come cheap, and although £35 is alot, the machine is worth it. I have now bought one for the dishwasher, and made a diary entry to do both again in a year.
